[__ Prayer __] Prayers for Joe (my fiancee)

Great news everybody!! Thanks to the advice of our fellow Christian brother Runner, Joe might get his freedom sooner than later after all. My future mother in-law is calling the state prono-bono listings tomorrow so please,...I really need your prayers more than ever that she will be able to get a lawyer. :pray

I mean this literally, thank the Lord for Runner!! Now I know for a fact that it was no accident that I was brought here although I suspected it all along. He gave me great legal advice. There's no doubt in my mind that the Lord is watching out for me and Joey now. :cross I have never felt so alive.

Well I just heard back from my future mother in-law and she just left a message with the pro-bono services of the county that my fiancée is currently in. All we can do at the moment is just continue hoping and praying. :pray

You may have to be patient so remember God is there with you. :pray

I know that, and I meant to say pro-bono. It's really rather had to be patient sometimes though. I know for a fact though that God came to me last night and told me that even though we might lose the battle, it doesn't mean that we have to lose the war. He really loves us and He doesn't want to see us lose our hope and faith in Him and we certainly won't since He has gotten us this far. :cross

I realize that this thread is mostly for prayers for my fiancee but I need some more prayers too. You see next week is my birthday week and even though it's exciting that I will be a year older, I also find it rather depressing that it will be another year without Joe beside me to celebrate it with. Birthdays and Christmases just haven't been the same since he's been gone even though the days themselves mean exactly the same thing. It's just gotten too much for me to bear going to sleep at night or waking up in the morning without him beside. I just miss him SO much! :crying

You have God in your heart. With that
I've learned that no matter what you go through you are never alone. Joe will be thinking of you I'm sure. You could write him a letter and tell him how you feel. It would probably make you both feel better.

Matthew 28:19
".........And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Thanks, I really appreciate that but I still feel so alone and empty inside. I was just going to write him a letter but let's face it, I've got a broken heart. :crying

Alright listen up peoples! I'm speaking up on behalf of my friend April and I have very good news. She heard back from her future mother in-law and she said that if she collects enough good solid evidence to prove Joe's innocence, he will get a lawyer. It's all the matter in that she finds one low cost to no money at all. So please pray that everything goes alright. She is collecting up his medical records right now and his IP to prove that he's disabled. There is also a chance that if they hire a lawyer that he will be able to make another appeal. So, fingers crossed! :crossed

I'm here asking for more prayers because we haven't heard anything back from legal aid yet and we are still trying to get together some good solid evidence to prove Joe's innocence so please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Well, I just recently found out that Joe has decided to read books about witchcraft,.. and I'm not talking books about Harry Potter either. Please pray for him to see the error of his way and that Satan will release his hold on him. He isn't studying to become a wizard, but he is still reading material that God has considered forbidden which is rather sad considering the fact that he is somebody who supposedly loves Jesus and longs to follow Him.

Well I just spoke with Joe's mom and apparently he is just reading Wicca just because he's curious what it is and that he's not actually studying it. He just wants to know more about it and why it's considered forbidden. I will post this response on the other thread that I started about it as well. Still no news on the case itself though, just please keep praying that all goes well. :pray I will try calling here again on Friday though.

I just wanted to tell everyone that I just spoke with Joe's mother and she's been making phone calls and right now she's trying to get her hands on the original court documents. I will be talking to her again after Easter. So more prayers are definitely appreciated. :pray
