[__ Prayer __] Praying for a new job

Well the women at work are now getting me sick, with stress my health is ok but my mental health is spiraling. It's not bad but it's getting there.

I have found potential jobs in my area where it's a lot closer to home. 10 minute drive versus 30+ minutes sound more appealing and hey the pay is slightly better. Now in sifting through many of these jobs is overwhelming to me. Sure I could just pick one or a few but I really could use prayers and God's guidance in this because he knows what is the right job for me. Please keep me in your prayers as I can find the right one or that God can lead me to the one I can do good in and not be so stressed out by lusting women or driving to and from home.

Some of us like me can't be dealing with the stress and finding the least amount of stress would be ideal. Would also be less stressed with bills and get more money to eat right and get the things in life I need to keep me going. Thanks for all your prayers in advance.

I experienced many years ago when I was in Bible school, during the vacation I worked on a noodle factory , people are unbelievers. It is really too stressful and they take all the advantages but left me, with my friend many a time into a trap.

We experienced 8 working hours as just a 5 minutes. When there is no supervisor visible, they let us work whole time and when supervisor came, they tried to work to earn the favor. Also, many others.

As a Christian, we sometimes feel it difficult but we take challenges with the Lord.

Oh yeah. Its really a struggle when you have to deal with it day after day. This problem has been going on for years now and I've dealt with it, even though the past year or so I've been trying to find something. It was only up to now that it looks like I have options. The worst thing is being able to find the job thats right for me.

I keep praying that God will show me because the last thing I want to do is to just quit without having anything else lined up. I'd be burning through my savings and credit cards to keep bills paid. I got at least several months but ideally it would be best to have a job lined up that I can do and is right for me.

Lust in the workplace isn't good. Its tougher because you can't interact with these women because it'll just make it worse. Been through this situation before but it was only with one lady... not different ones before...

It would be nice to have a vacation that long. I did find a janitor position for night shift but the only problem is it's still pretty far. Ideally I'd like a 10 minute drive both saving on gas and less time on the roads. Currently it's a 34minute drive 30 miles one way and I wasn't really bothered by it but since Covid people have been driving more recklessly.

So besides getting out of this uncomfortable situation with these women there are other benefits, I'd get more money and less stress on the highways. There's definitely benefits for a new job.. the only thing like I said getting the right one.

I don't like moving from job to job either but I've been in retail for so long I just was so tired of it. Manufacturing with this company is a lot less work intensive. Still can be stressful when it's not going well but if the parts are working as they should its pretty easy.

Thanks for your post. I have two things in reply.
1. I gave some job advice to some young people working at McDonald's (graduating high school students). It helped at least one of them to figure out what they wanted to do, so here goes:

Make a list of things you enjoy doing. Then make a list of things you are able to do. Then compare the lists and the job you need will appear as the common denominator of those lists.

The reason for this is that God gave you everything you need for the work HE wants you to do. This means the ideal job for you is already determined for you by God. He has already given you the gifts you need to get that job.

2. Father, i pray that You provide MayGodHeal with the discernment of the gifts You gave in advance. And soon because an important component of prayer is to know that YOU can be trusted and to know that YOU promised us that if we seek and find Your Righteousness then all the things we need YOU will provide. I pray this Father in Jesus' Name. Amen.
