[__ Prayer __] Praying for the situation in Afghanistan

Please stand in agreement with me in prayer for the situation in Afghanistan.


I know many of us are praying and interceding for that nation.


The Lord has put upon my heart something specific in addition to praying for the protection of the troops and the innocent people who are fleeing that nation.



He reminded me that Saul of Tarsus was a religious zealot, who was responsible for persecution and death of Christians because he was blind and following a religion that did not believe Jesus is the Messiah of the Lord.



I have been praying that God will pour out His Spirit in a mighty way, and that He will raise up many of these Taliban and Islamic Jihadist’s as mighty men of God the way He did with Saul, who became one of the greatest soul winners of that time.


These Islamic Jihadist are unafraid to give their life in service to Allah, how much more would they serve as the living God, having been filled with His Spirit, and sent to their own countrymen.


They would be able to reach many souls for Christ, being uniquely qualified to relate to the people of that region.



Please, pray for the outpouring of His Spirit on that troubled region, that many will turn to Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.


“And it shall come to pass afterward
That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your old men shall dream dreams,
Your young men shall see visions.
And also on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days.

Stephen was slain by those who rejected Christ, with Saul of Tarsus attending.


We know there will be martyrs.


We also know God can take what was meant for evil, and bring good out of it.


And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

I believe you have been given an extremely important message by The Holy Spirit. I stand in agreement and will join you in prayer.
Christ can manifest Himself to anyone The Father has given to Him.
Yes, Paul is the perfect example. They would be extroading witnesses and to great advantage of the troops and Afghans.
You have great faith and are well blessed to be given this message in your heart.

Many Muslims have turned back to God accepting Christ Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Many have to hide this for fear of their own safety, especially from their own family. I pray the spirit of courage will fill those there as they step up taking no concern for themselves as they let the light of Christ shine through them.

Peter himself denied the Lord before he was baptized with the Holy Spirit and power.

After he received the Baptism of the Spirit, he bodly store up and preached to the Gospel to the very Jews he was afraid of.
