In addition to the "what works for you thread".... I would like to know how Christians present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people on the internet...

Again, this is a "what works" question.

And for a "what work" scenerio...


If I were a seeker, what would you tell me... how would you present the Gospel of Christ to me, considering that I don't even know yet that I AM a lost sinner...

Skills Work Experiences

Some of my skills and work experiences include: empowering the poor to
be poor no more, healing the brokenhearted, setting the captives free,
healing the sick, restoring sight to the blind and setting at liberty
them that are bruised, (See Luke 4:18). I am a Wonderful Counselor,
(See Isaiah 9:6). People who listen to me shall dwell safely and shall
not fear evil, (See Proverbs 1:33). Most importantly, I have the
authority, ability and power to cleanse you of your sins, (See I John
1:7-9)


Educational Background

I encompass the entire breadth and length of knowledge, wisdom and
understanding, (See Proverbs 2:6). In me are hid all of the treasures
of wisdom and knowledge, (See Colossians 2:3).

My Word is so powerful; it has been described as being a lamp unto your
feet and a lamp unto your path, (See Psalms 119:105).
I can even tell you all of the secrets of your heart, (See Psalms 44:21).


Major Accomplishments

I was an active participant in the greatest Summit Meeting of all times, (See Genesis 1:26). I laid down my life so that you may live, (See II Corinthians 5:15). I defeated the archenemy of God and mankind and made a show of them openly, (See Colossians 2:15).

I've miraculously fed the poor, healed the sick and raised the dead!

Hi serapha

I agree with some of the elements of your posts in this thread. However, it is not always like that.

I can speak from experience. I was an atheist for 30+ years and came to know Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour in November 1999 via the Internet!!

Prior to that, I spend hours and hours online (over many months), giving Christians a hard time. I have multiple aliases. I was worse than the most hardened atheist or skeptic you see here on these forums (Quath and reznwerks included).

How did the most effective Christians present the Gospel? By their WORDS and what they did for me. In spite of the insults I hurled and the subtle sarcasm and ridicule, a few Christians were always there for me, praying and asking about me. When I did call out for help (in private IM), one of these dear souls prayed with me.... the skeptics prayer. Both her and her Mom prayed. I prayed along with them. My conversion was almost as dynamic as Paul's! Within months, I had totally changed my life; given up the activities online. Bought a Study Bible, taken my family to church.... and even started studying Christian Theology formally.

Today I am in several mercy ministries (HIV/Aids orphans and food/clothes distribution); study Islam and Judaism so that I can witness to Muslims and am very active in my local church.

The more I think about it, the more I realise that we can only sow seeds. God does the rest. Although I am eternally grateful to the few real Christians I met online, I know that it is only by God's grace that I was led to a saving knowledge of my precious Lord Jesus Christ.

How do we sow those seeds? By our words and actions and if our words and actions are so steeped in His Word, THAT becomes the Gospel that the unsaved person hears.

Christianity as something that could be described as a first-cousin to "ugly".

I mean U-G-L-Y... with a capital "U"


I just want to know... "what works"
