While I suspect that for just about anything a man can do, it might be possible to find a woman that could also do it but speaking in more general terms or typical there are things that men are more suited for than women and vise versa. For example.

By design, men's bodies generally speaking and due to a hormone called testosterone are more likely to develop greater muscle mass giving them more physical strength than the average women. This makes men more suited for physically demanding tasks or occupations than women.

By design, women are generally far more nurturing than men and have a more gentle mental capacity making them generally more suited for tasks that involve child rearing and care than men.

the military is a collective and you know this ,there is no individuals ,even in the 4 man teams of the sf,seals where one member carries a lot more to get the job done .

the military promotes using quotas on how many slots are allotted and decisions are based on the best person in theory ,another thread ,but I would digress if I got into how they have quotas and lower or raise standards based on whether its war or peace .

I sat as an e4 for a while ,war hits ,ranks given away as they needed men.I grant you that ,I hate that ,but either the harder standard is needed or not ,one or the other .

I wouldn't drop the standards at all, only subject to mission requirements. If a woman can pass, good on her; let her do it. If not, well, there's lot of men who can't do it, either.

I,was in an infantry unit ,I,ruck marched carrying 50 to 60 lbs ,I weighed 135.how many women In good. body fat standards are that weight without using supplements ?
not many ,notice my basic training article says 8 weeks ,and they couldn't pass a test meant for their mos ,that test is harder or easier depending on the mos you have .

but I,guess those female wrestlers and mma fighters who lost to men in the same weight class are just weak.
