As Christians we need to listen and pay attention to what different leaders around the world are saying. I remember reading that if a person hears something being spoken over and over again they will start to believe it. So if we are not careful and watchful we too could could fall for the grand speeches that word leaders are making. I remember listening to a speech Obama was saying recently in Europe, he talked about North Korea basically keeping themselves as an isolated country and controlling their masses then he said afterwards "we need a global regime". Now that statement is very cruial if you know the meanings of the words global and regime. Also what is very very important to note is that he spoke those words after talking about the type of government Noth Korea has. As I was watching, the audience was sopping what Obama was saying like sponges, as they looked to world leaders like parents to bail them out of the economic crisis. Do you remember how Hitler came to power, it was because Germany was devastated economically by World War 1and the Germans felt hopeless, so they wanted a leader to alleviate their sufferings and to help Germany to become a strong nation again. Hitler seemed like the perfect leader offering them hope and solutions to their problems as well as a whole dose of nationlism, he was a very charismatic man, he had an ability to sway the masses with his grand speeches and hand gestures. He knew what to say and how to say it. He knew how to stir people up with his words and speeches. Hitler was able to turn decent law abiding citizens into ruthless murderers.

History has a way of repeating itself.

History indeed does. In regards of Obama...will not deny I have little, to no respect for the man. He is one I try to keep serious thought and prayer on in light of many of his decisions since coming to office. Cannot put a label on him though in terms of the End Times. Only pray that God can give me the open eyes I need spiritually to see the truth. Which at this point...I will not lie...is not looking too nice to see.

Hitler indeed was quite the speaker and knew exactly what to say in which to give his people hope. Even if it meant slandering another populous and stirring hatred within the hearts of those of a struggling country in order to give them the determination to weather a storm.

No, Obama is certainly not the antichrist, or like Stalin, or Hitler; but I cannot fathom supporting a President who endorses a policy that has promoted and advocated the murder of over 44,000,000 unborn kids since Roe vs. Wade. He has even furthered that very policy. No Christian should praise such a man. We are told to obey our governing authorities (Romans 13:1-6), but we do not have to believe in their policies or the antichristian propaganda perpetuated by them in these last days. After all, civil authority is placed here by God as a tool to further His plan. However, be a watchman and stay alert. The people in power now are NOT Christian:

Matthew 7:16 By their fruits ye shall know them. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but the corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

I certainly don't praise the man! I just don't believe he should be compared to someone who was personally responsible for advocating and provoking the killing of 11 million people. Nor do I believe he should be held responsible for every abortion committed since Roe vs. Wade.

Yes, some people seem to look upon him as some sort of savior and it's rather disgusting. Some of the rights did the same thing with Sarah Palin.

He outright rejected certain ridiculous claims and mocked some of the things that were said about himself.

The Lord has forbidden idol worship of any kind.

But there is no reason he should be compared to Hitler of all people.

I think Stalin is the only man who could be compared to Hitler. Ignorance and incompetence along with promoting secular/socialistic agendas should never be compared to cruel psychopathic behavior and mass murder. In the campaign there were references that Obama is god.

You said that Obama outrightly rejected what people were saying? When exactly? When have Obama ever seriously stated that people should stop treating him like he is god? If people started treating you like you were god what would be your reaction?

You still have not told me what a global regime is? Do you know Obama was talking about North Korea as a regime and afterwards he said we need a global regime. I found the timing of that statment quite strange considering the fact that he called Korea a regime.

Do you know that it is utter blasphemy when someone likens a human being unto god?

Can't you see that the anti-christ spirit is moving in this world? Can't you see that something is spiuritually wrong with Obama and his administration and the way people treat him.

I am convinced based on what I have read that if the Anti-Christ was to come on the world front today many Christians simply would not know it, they wouldn't be able to tell.

It is high time that Christians stop trying to making excuses for Barack Obama and face the real truth.

There are certain leaders in this world that are Anti-Christ forerunners. They have a lot in common with the Anti-Christ. People like Hitler, Kim Jon Il, and Barack Obama.

Hitler prmoised hope and prosperity to the German people. The people placed their hopes, their dreams, their lives and their future on Hitler. Hitler drew the people to him by his words, he knew what to say and how to say. There was no other leader quite like Hitler at that time. The same thing with Barack, people are placing their hopes, their dreams, their future on Barack. Barack draws people in by his words, he knows what to say and how to say it. Never have I ever seen a leader alive on this earth that has captivated the world like Barack Obama has. A world that is in rebellion against God himself.

I have said all that I am going to say on this matter. If you don't believe me do your personal research, examine how the people treat Obama, study the word of God, find out the different things the anti-Christ will do and find out the personality that the Anti-Christ will have, find out how the people of this world will react to the Anti-Christ, do personal research on history. Research about Hitler, look on his policies, look what he did to establish control of the people. Do your research on Obama's policies. Listen carefully to his speeches and other world leaders speeches. Watch and pray. Keep yourself in the word of God. Obey God, do what he tells you to do.

I'm just going to go ahead and say it. Claiming that Obama is the anti-christ or that he is comparable to Hitler or Stalin is just plain ridiculous. Obama did not exterminate 6 million Jews nor does he compare in the slightest to Hitler's rise to power and his subsequent demolition of their weak and fragile government as a result of reparations paid after WWI. He is not assasinating high ranking government officials nor calling for the persecution of segments of our population as Hitler did.

Now, let's put Obama's actual words into context and see if he is promoting a New World Order.

"This morning, we were reminded again why we need a new
and more rigorous approach to address this threat. North
Korea broke the rules once more by testing a rocket that
could be used for a long-range missile.

This provocation underscores the need for action-not
just this afternoon at the UN Security Council, but in
our determination to prevent the spread of these weapons.

He is obviously talking about the UN having muscle to back up it's words and resolutions which we all know they have been challenged with forever. He is not promoting the creation of some New World Order or type of government. Empower the international community to back up what they tell unstable governments they cannot do. Big difference there if you ask me.

We cannot hold Obama or anyone accountable for how others portray him or how others treat him. Do some people compare him to the Messiah or as the second coming? Sure. Is that Obama's problem? Nope. Obama has poked fun at this reference many times in his speeches in an effort to help people see just how ridiculous it is. He doesn't have to come out sternly to denounce it. They are many ways to ensure that people understand that the comparison is not just.

Personally, I am trying to see how anything is "spiritually wrong" with Obama and his administration. You can disagree with his policies or his decisions and that is fine. But these claims are just a gross overstatement based on disagreements with the Democratic platform and Obama's policies. Obama is not responsible for Roe v Wade. However, he is responsbile to uphold the law as it is written now. To some how tie him to the "murder" of 44 million unborn children is a huge stretch and just outright not truthful. Obama is not responsible for any deaths of unborn children. Those decisions are made by those women and they will have to square with that someday.

Personally, I think some folks are overreacting to the fact that someone they didn't like as a Presidential candidate actually became President. There's nothing wrong with that but let's not start preaching the end of days or how Obama is evil and stuff like that. It's just plain silly if you ask me.

First of all Aero I did not say that Obama was the Anti-Christ. He is one of the Anti-Christ forerunners. Secondly it is not ridiculous to compare Obama with Hitler. Hitler did not start off immediately murdering 6 million Jews. His plans were carefully thought out and planned. Hitler was a charismatic leader like Obama, Hitler gained popularity and prominence because Germany was impacted badly economically as a result of the world war. People in Germany were vulnerable, they found it hard to get jobs, found it hard to obtain food, things were bad. When people are suffering they can easily be taken advantage of. Hitler knew that the people were suffering and used that to institute laws that ultimately resulted in the death of 6 million Jews. Obama' great popularity is also as a result of the economic crisis. Times are hard, things are bad, people are looking up to Obama to save them from this economic crisis. As a result of the economic crisis it is much more easier for Obama to institute certain policies that he wants. Obama is using the law in order to allow women to have kill their children in the womb. One of the main reasons women get abortion is because of convenience, they were not ready to have a child and they don't want to deal with the responsibility of bringing a child into the world. Do you know how much babies will be killed because of Obama's policies. Obama also is clamping down on gun owners, trying to circumvent the constitution, Obama is using the economic crisis as a way to allow the governbment to have control over private enterprises. Christians will be persecuted because of Obama's policies. Obama is pumping money into education like crazy, education where children are taught anti-Christian principles including homosexuality. For all those Christian parents who are not observant the government want schools to teach children that homosexuality is acceptable. That is why homosexual books are apart of the school circulum. Hitler himself indoctrinated the children in his society by interfering with the educational system in schools.

Aero the United Natiions is a vehicle for world government. The United Nations was created in order to make world government possible. The United Nations is very very important to the world government agenda. They are dividing the world into different segments. So for e.g you have the EU, then you have NAFTA which brings the U.S, Mexico and Canada together, then regional integration is occuring in the Caribbean region where they are planning to bring the Caribbean together along with Latin American nations. When they have segmented the world in that way then they will bring the nations togther gradually under a world government and the anti-Christ himself will be the President of that world government. Global regime means global govenment.

Aero if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your lord and saviour you will be blind to many spiritual things. Even some Christians are blind to spiritual things but only because they choose to remain blind. They don't want to hear the real truth.

I love Obama, but I cannot condone his policies and what he stands for. I cannot condone the way people treat him like he is god, Obama does not seem to have a problem with people treating him like he is god. If he did he would have not allowed "The truth" painting to be even come close to be presented. Blasphemy is a very serious thing, in the bible they were calling a particular leader a god and God's angel killed that leader because he did not give God the glory. It is a very very serious matter. It is also a sign that the Anti-Christ spirit is moving on earth, a sign that people's hearts are turning away from the one true God and they are creating a god out of their own making. A sign that people are being prepared to accept the real Anti-Christ.

Actually, if we were all doing what we should be doing as Christians, our "spare" time would be spent on our knees and not tuned into current events. These leaders can actually do harm to those who aren't saved, but we are under God's umbrella and we need to help in getting as many unsaved under that umbrella too.

Can't you see that the anti-christ spirit is moving in this world? Can't you see that something is spiuritually wrong with Obama and his administration and the way people treat him.

The spirit of antichrist has been moving in this world for eons. Our experiences are not unique to this (our) generation.

I agree, but for quite different reasons. Anyway, people have been crying out "antichrist" for so long it's become like the boy who cried wolf or like Chicken Little running around yelling, "the sky is falling...". "Antichrist" is much more than one specific person and for that reason many will miss it at first.

I don't understand why you are getting religious on me. If I say to Christians and others that they need to listen to what world leaders are saying I do not see what the problem is. I have never suggested that Christians should not to do the work that God has called them to do.

Everytime I say something that does not sound "Christian" enough all I get is criticism from the church.

1. I have done some of my own personal research. I have read blogs, articles and opinions. I have read and watched speeches. I am still looking to form a more full opinion on our leaders, but they won't be based on other people's opinions or theories. They will be based on factual information, Scripture, and the inner voice of the Holy Spirit. (yes, He speaks to me too...I am a Christian, strong in my faith)

2. I have studied and will always study God's Word.

3. I believe that the fully manifested Antichrist will come during the Tribulation. I do not believe we are currently experiencing the Tribulation.

4. I have done quite a bit of research on certain periods in history and read probably around 50 books on the Holocaust. I am not unfamiliar with Hitler's disgusting policies. And I do not believe, by any stretch of the imagination, that his murderous regime has anything to do with your accusations.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, Ciara. It wasn't meant as criticism. It was based on observations I see in many Christians, including myself sometimes. We sometimes look in the wrong directions, when we should be looking in One direction only. I wasn't trying to be "religious". I'm not very religious in the worldly sense of the word. My point was if we are going to warn people of the dangers of politics and the political agendas around the world, we must make the Gospel message the center, the reason why we feel the way we do. Otherwise some people will just see doom and gloom and become all fatalistic.

Ours is a Message of Hope; the world's message is a message of hopelessness. :amen
