Prominent Marks of the True Church of the Lord Today
______________________________________________________________
1. In the true church of the Lord, there is no man pastor/s who will teach his brothers nor will there be any one to act as leader, but in the True Church of the Lord, the Lord God Almighty who is none other than the Lord Jesus Christ is the One, the only Good Pastor himself who personally teaches each and everyone in the church and the Lord God is the only One high and above all mankind and all creations. The Lord God is the only keeper and overseers of the flock and the only One adding or deducting a member/s to the church. Nobody knows the location and status of the church members for only the Lord knows it and those whom the Lord wishes to.

2. In the true church of the Lord, each and everyone is equal to and/or is at par with each other. None is poor neither rich, none is sick nor healthy, none is humbled nor exalted, none is big nor small, but all is whole and already healed in spirit. If there is any impairment between and amongst themselves, they are only in flesh, but not in spirit.

3. In the true church of the Lord, no one is allowed to explain the holy scriptures/bible and teach same to his brother for the Lord God is the only One who will teach each and everyone among mankind and the only duty of any member is just to tell the world to call on to and to go to the Lord God directly and seek the Lord true to their heart, soul, and mind. If there will be any explanation of the scriptures/bible to be made (like in a bible study which is allowed by the Lord), same should be treated as only their own explanation and should be kept to themselves. Never at all that same should be made doctrine/s of the church for in the church of the Lord, there is no doctrine whatsoever because the Lord God himself is the only Teacher/Good Pastor and the teachings will always come from the Lord God alone.

4. In the true church of the Lord, none is boastful saying that they are the only ones to be saved and outside of their church is no salvation and they do not mingle in any troublesome activities, but rather they spread the words that the Lord is uttering to them in guiding their fellow men to the way leading to the kingdom of God

Source: The Lord God Jesus Christ himself who is still talking with mankind today as in the days of the biblical times. We are a living witness that Jesus is still the One teaching mankind today and not man pastors as we can see in different denominations today. All must call on directly to the Lord God and ask God to be our Good Pastor and Teacher, be it in the identity of God, of the bible, and about all things, so that no one must be led astray of the way of the kingdom of God.

It is true that one Christian isn't better than another, but there are some who know more about the bible than others. I have heard most pastors say that they are NOT better than their congregation. I, for one, don't mind being taught by someone who had learned more than I have.

Knowing God himself intimately today is your gateway to your salvation and eternal life rather than knowing the bible by yourself and thru others which only bring you to division and denomination. Not that I degrade the bible but just put God himself above the bible.

I totaly agree Christine.... I think perhaps it is more like God giving you and insight through somebody else, from somthing they say or do as well as a more direct approach through discussion.

Nobody has all the answers only God does, I am just thank full for what ever level of understanding I may have....(because of him revealing) the Onus was never on us to know all the ins and outs of why we are in Christ Jesus anyway.

He is on the hook to do that revealing.

Grace and Peace to you

The Lord God Jesus Christ always gets people nigh to Him, not to his fellow men, not to any written documents or scriptures, so that people may know God intimately under God's tutelage.

Exactly, hence we must come directly unto God and put all our trust and confidence in God for us to arrive to theTRUTH. Jesus is our Good Pastor and Teacher to whom we can only get the truth and the meaning of all that we read in the bible.

and if God has you locked up in disobedience.... as scripture tells us he has locked up ALL in disobedience so that he can show mercy to ALL... where does that leave you.......knowing only what he wishes to reveal to each perhaps ?

Peace

Do forgive my classic Scouse humour, but having just read this piece that includes C S Lewis, my reaction to the OP was, "1st Narnia...now Cloud Cuckoo Land!"

Is Scorpia God? No

Yet, despite saying that only God can teach, etc, here is Scorpia insisting we all believe him, even though what he says contradicts God's Word

See 1 Corinthians 12-14 & Ephesians 4 & 1 Timothy 3 & 2 Tim 2:14-26

God chooses to use 'the foolishness of preaching'

He chooses to speak thru apostles, prophets, pastors, evangelists, elders & teachers

What sect do you represent, Scorpia: the Exclusive Brethren?

Sure sounds like it

God bless all our readers!

Just time to post this helpful piece, to anchor our faith on God's Word, which He 'puts above His name'

Words Taught By The Holy Spirit

10 . . .but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things
of God. 13 This is what we speak, not in words
taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by
the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual
words. (NIV) 1 Corinthians 2:10, 13

The apostle Paul writes that the New Testament
apostles were taught by the Holy Spirit what to
write. The writers of the New Testament did not
speak with their own words "taught by human
wisdom," but with "words taught by the Holy Spirit."

The Bible was originally written in ancient languages
(Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek). But the words of the
Bible came from God and were written by men. The
apostle Peter affirmed this when he said "Above all,
you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture
came about by the prophet's own interpretation. For
prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but
men spoke from God as they were carried along by
the Holy Spirit." (NIV) 2 Peter 1:20-21

Before Jesus left this earth and returned to His
Father, He told the disciples that He would send the
Holy Spirit to them. He told them that one of the
functions of the Holy Spirit would be to remind them
of all the things that He had said and then to guide
them into more truth.

** John 14:26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit,
whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you
all things and will remind you of everything I have
said to you. (NIV)

** John 15:26 "When the Counselor comes, whom I
will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth
who goes out from the Father, he will testify about
me. (NIV)

** John 16:13 But when he, the Spirit of truth,
comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not
speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears,
and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14 He will
bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and
making it known to you. 15 All that belongs to the
Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take
from what is mine and make it known to you. (NIV)

The Holy Spirit helped those who wrote the
Gospels
to remember Jesus' exact words. Those who wrote
other parts of the New Testament were guided by
the Spirit as they wrote. So are you taking the time
to read the Bible, the inspired Word of God?

That is the great difference between God himself and the scriptures, with God there is no "ifs" whatsoever but always a clear and definitive teaching that will lighten up your way leading to the kingdom of God while in the scriptures, there are always these "ifs" because the reader is just always postulating whatever he reads and understads from the bible minus the real and alive God. Where in the bible did the Lord God Jesus Chrsit lock up the apostles, the disciples, the prophets, and other men of God in disobedience?

Thank you, that's the truth. We are all equal in the eyes of God with no one among ourselves higher than his other fellow, not even Moses or Paul.

Nothing in particualar except that what we know is that we are under the direct tutelage of the Lord God Jesus Christ today and it is still in progress.

By what authority do you speak?

I listen only to those with the authority of Jesus Christ, through the generations of apostles that succeeded the first twelve.

The real and alive Almighty Lord God Jesus Christ is more than all these things (for they are not God in the first place) that you are saying and in Jesus himself that we must anchor our faith in God and not to anything else, even to any written scriptures, because the eternal life and salvation is in the Lord God himself and not in any written scriptures or the bible per se.

Did God instructed anyone from among the bible characters to make any written scriptures as their manual in knowing God? Did God said to anyone to study and learn from the bible itself rather than from the Lord God himself? Isn't it that God himself can teach us all the things in the bible even without any copy of a bible in God's hand?
