So then, None of us were there. So we both act on faith. Admit it 8-)

One view uses the process of science to determine what happened and one uses an old book of mythology...

So what kind of faith do you use for the gaps in evolution......... ..... not seeing something in action and drawing a conclusion is faith.....

like John says admit it.............you'll feel better...

Evidence for evolution > evidence for creationism.

Freeway never said anything about the "evidence" but the Gaps.

Explain what *you* mean by "gaps in evolution".

By acknowledging that Creationism is pure faith, I sincerely hope you will stop trying to promote it as Creation Science.

Nope, Faith is required in many areas of creation as well as the whole evolution theory.

I don't argue that things adapt, but like i keep on saying there are limits, all the "transitional" finds are subject to the interpretation of the imagination of the scientists works in an evolutionary mindset.

you see as a creationist there is missing pieces, and when God feels he needs to reveal them he will... God made the universe and "everything" in it ..the more we learn of the bible the more things become clearer, Kind of like science the difference being, Science is man starting off wrong and over time makes the necessary adjustments.. The bible is written by God through Godly men that over time we come to understand "it" better... We can trace man back to Adam and Eve.. the flood, your going to love this which there is evidence for, the First and the coming soon of Jesus again.. bible prophecy coming true.. "signs and wonders." and as far as creation. Man with dinosaurs, man made objects found in 300 million old undisturbed coal beds... etc..

OK rebuttals goes here>>>>

"Missing pieces"

That's an understatement. The entire evidence and logic for Creationist theories is missing.

Hahaha, humans lived with dinosaurs, that is priceless. Somehow that still never gets old when some fundie says that.

Do you really want to use that bad? Science is bad and irrational but so are we?

One of the thing Christians find so alarming about creationists, is that they seem to regard "faith" as a bad thing, so much so, that they consider it an insult to call something a religion.

My hypothesis is that they so envy the remarkable (but limited) success of science, that they think faith is somehow a shabby imitation.

And so the worst thing they can say about evolution is that it's a faith. Which takes a monumental effort to ignore the vast body of evidence. This is why, when some people here have been challenged to test their notions of evolution, will steadfastly refuse to do so.

Religious belief is a legitimate and useful way about learning of things beyond science. This, I think, they no longer really believe.

I think you will find there is a lot more creationist than you think... and faith, are you serous, of course you need faith for whatever you place your beliefs in... whatever.. but don't try and make it sound like you and the evolution group have the corner on whats right and wrong... and how to try and dictate that to other Christians,,, just because we differ on how we came to be...... Mine is God put us here,, created us in the beginning ... simple for me... and as for science, love it, but don't agree with all of it... but thats my right.... 8-) 8-) 8-)
well lets test evolution....start it off.....
now you can slam me if that make you feel better...

freeway01, no one disagrees that it is your right to believe in whatever you like. However, these rights don't extend to trying to force your beliefs on other people.

If religious people kept their faith to themselves, or within their religious community then you wouldn't have the rise of militant atheists or endless arguments between all the Christian flavours.

Heh, the luddite who wrote that must have been a juror at the OJ trial. "You weren't there, so the evidence doesn't prove a thing!"

Amazing. What's even more amazing is, some people actually fall for that kind of scam.

Don't worry about all the DNA evidence, fingerprints, blood splatter patterns, bullet trajectory, body positioning, autopsy, etc.. evidence in a murder trial.

When you get cross examined by the prosecutor, just say "Where you there?"

Thats your "I Win!" button to getting off any murder =)

Anyone who studies law knows that the only hard evidence is eye-witness testimony. Commit your crimes when no one is around.

I know it is my right to believe in creation after all it did happen. couldn't help.. and as far as forcing my beliefs on others... I think if you re read the post..from everyone (there's lots of them) everyone here is just trying to defend there belief.... I do care what you or they believe one bit,,, its not up to me to make them change there mind............I just enjoy coming here and exchanging blogs thats all.... sure we get some heated blogs going... but it just fun.... and entertainment I'm sure for all of folks that just past through.... look at views compared to the post..

Sorry but as a Christian and a follow of Christ, this very thing we are told to do..... If that bugs you, take it up with Jesus................just kidding.. 8-) 8-) 8-)

I think you believe there was a creation, but you just don't approve of the way God did it.

As that's what Scientologists, Mormons etc are told to do. Have you ever had a Mormon knock on your door trying to spread the "good news"?
