Question about John Hagee

Did I just imagine that John Hagge just said on TV that the Jewish people did not need Jesus for salvation? I did a Google search as it seems heretical to teach this. Several search results shows he believes this way.

As much as I hate to say it; it certainly does appear that this is indeed his view. I don't know how anyone can read the bible and come up w/ that conclusion, but apparently he does

Kerplunk..another one bites the dust...I just found out Billy Graham was not the Bible believing Christian I had believed all these years. Maybe we should do a google search before we listen to any of these TV preachers or read their books..."The Purpose Driven Life" the book that is burning up the pews in church has a lot in it that is just not right.

Mama used to tell me, "Believe only half of what you see and none of what you hear". Still good advise.

eve is correct want prof.

See the video: Graham has "wonderful fellwship" with the Pope and Mormonism

http://www.bible.ca/billy-graham-Larry- ... n-1997.ram

Larry King: "What do you think of Mormonism, Catholicism, other faiths
within the Christian concept?"

Billy Graham: "Well I think I am in wonder fellowship with all of them."

Larry King: "You are comfortable with Salt Lake City. You are comfortable
with the Vatican?"

Billy Graham: "I am very comfortable with the Vatican."

Larry King: "You were preaching in his church (Pope) the day he was
made Pope."

Billy Graham: "That is correct."

AUDIO WHAT TO LISTEN FOR

CLIP 1:
Graham and Nixon discuss a "powerful bloc" of Jews in the media. Agreeing with Nixon on all the problems the Jewish media is causing, Graham adds: "And they're the ones putting out the pornographic stuff."

CLIP 2:
"This stranglehold has got to be broken or the country's going down the drain," says Graham.

"You believe that?" Nixon asked after Graham used the word "stranglehold."

"Yes, sir," Graham replies.

"Oh boy," replies the then-president. "So do I. I can't ever say that but I believe it."

CLIP 3:
Graham discusses how, under the Nixon presidency, he's had to quiet down "on just about everything that would make any news, due to the fact that I didn't want to look like I was critical of some policy of yours..."

CLIP 4:
Graham says that he has friends in the media who are Jewish: "[They] swarm around me and are friendly to me because they know I'm friends of Israel." But, he confides to Nixon, "They don't know how I really feel about what they're doing to this country."

"Baptism is very important because Jesus taught that we are to believe and to be baptized. But that is up to the individual and the church that they feel led to go to. The churches have different teachings on that. I know that in the Lutheran or the Episcopal or Catholic Church it is a very strong point, and in the Baptist church. But there are some churches that would not insist on baptism. So, I give them the freedom to teach what they want. I am not a professor. I am not a theologian. I’m a simple proclaimer. … I’m announcing the news that God loves you and that you can be forgiven of your sins. And you can go to heaven. My job from God is not to do all these other things. … I am not a pastor of a church. That’s not my responsibility. My responsibility is to preach the Gospel to everyone and let them choose their own church, whether it is Catholic or Protestant or Orthodox or whatever it is" (Billy Graham, interview with Patricia Rice, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, October 10, 1999).

..."The Purpose Driven Life" the book that is burning up the pews in church has a lot in it that is just not right. ...
Eve, we had plans at our church to do the "Purpose Driven 40 Days" series this Sept/Oct. I expressed my concerns. I've come to find out it has been put off for a while...hopefully permanently. I want to believe this is due to the convictions of the Holy Spirit.

This is a red flag here that tells us he may be drifitng off course.

Jim Jones and David Koresh and many others in the beginning were great Bible teachers..I'm not comparing John Hagee, just pointing out that the ability to teach is not necessarily given only to those who are preaching God's Word in the right way. There are a lot of Silver Tongued devils out there today, distorting God's word for their own agenda.

This is what the "purpose driven life" is bassed on a market driven course.

John Haggie is a heritic at his worse.

Think on These Things
(Philippians 4:8)

Rick Warrens Purpose Driven Life methords are no diffrent from
Tony Robbins Entitled Unleash the Power with in.

"Tony Robbins' original life-changing program, Personal
Power, had helped millions of people take control of
every aspect of their lives - financially, physically,
Mentally, and emotionally."

"He'll show you, step-by-step, how to get from where you
are to where you want to be."

These are some of the techniques that "Warren" uses

• How to awaken and unleash your driving force and take
consistent action!

• How to use "your greatest motivator" to get yourself to
take action even when you don't feel like it !

• How to find out what you really want out of life and how to get it!

• How to use the power of questions to get what you want!

• How to change your limiting beliefs that have been holding you
back from being the best you can be!

• How to use the "Dicken's Pattern" to create powerful change
at lightning speed!

• How to set and achieve goals for every important area of
your life!

• How to identify the most common kinds of fears and
overcome them!

• How to eliminate self-sabotage and create unstoppable
self-confidence in whatever you do!

â€ÂThis is a dangerous trend that will lead to nothing ...
to how far the misrepresentation of God’s truth can ...
exactly how virtually every cult and heresy is startedâ€Â

People Should Goto the bible and not these people for any kind
of revelation from any one or even new teachings if it looks to good
to be true then it is. If it sounds to good to the ear then its far from
the truth. Jer 6:16 - "Thus says the LORD, "Stand by the ways
and see and ask for the ancient paths, Where the good way
is, and walk in it; And you will find rest for your souls. But
they said, 'We will not walk {in it.}' (NASB)

Be Warned !!!!!!

JOHN HAGEE: quotes

Free John Hagee is a proven heretic.

"The annointing will do these things, Luke 4:8 says, 'He has annointed me to preach the good news to the poor.' What's the good news to the poor? The good news to the poor is this, Christ took our poverty at the cross, and he gave you the riches of Abraham. Brother, that's enough to make a baptist get in the aisle and start dancing. If you have the annointing you don't have the curse of poverty."
(John Hagee, Audio-clip from the, Bible Answer-man, February 25, 2004, Hank Hanegraaff)

"This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth' [quoting Josh. 1:8 KJV]. That's the spoken Word of God. 'And then thou shalt prosper and have good success.' When? After you speak and act upon the Word of God. And you've been hearing that tonight out of the mouth of [well-known Faith teacher] John Avanzini."
(John Hagee, Praise-A-Thon, Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), 4 Nov. 1992)

"Poverty is caused by sin and disobeying the Word of God."
(John Hagee, Praise-A-Thon, Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), 16 April, 1993)

"Poverty is a curse."
(John Hagee, Praise-A-Thon, Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), 4 Nov, 1992)

“I believe that every Jewish person who lives in the light of the Torah, which is the word of God, has a relationship with God and will come to redemption.â€Â
(“San Antonio fundamentalist battles anti-Semitism,†Houston Chronicle, April 30, 1988, sec. 6, pg. 1.)

“John Hagee, fundamentalist pastor from San Antonio and friend of Israel, is truly a strange fish. ... The man has a mission. He’s out to attack anti-Semitism. He also believes that Jews can come to God without going through Jesus Christ.â€Â
(“San Antonio fundamentalist battles anti-Semitism,†Houston Chronicle, April 30, 1988, sec. 6, pg. 1.)

"The Jews were not rejecting Jesus as Messiah, it was Jesus who was refusing to be the Messiah to the Jews!"
(Joh Hagee, Should Christians Support Israel? pg 67-68)

“I’m not trying to convert the Jewish people to the Christian faith.â€Â
(John Hagee, “San Antonio fundamentalist battles anti-Semitism,†Houston Chronicle, April 30, 1988, sec. 6, pg. 1.)

“In fact, trying to convert Jews is a ‘waste of time,’ he said. ‘The Jewish person who has his roots in Judaism is not going to convert to Christianity. There is no form of Christian evangelism that has failed so miserably as evangelizing the Jewish people. They (already) have a faith structure.’ Everyone else, whether Buddhist or Baha’i, needs to believe in Jesus, he says. But not Jews. Jews already have a covenant with God that has never been replaced by Christianity, he says.â€Â
(John Hagee, “San Antonio fundamentalist battles anti-Semitism,†Houston Chronicle, April 30, 1988, sec. 6, pg. 1.)

“There are Jewish people who have relationship with God right now according to the election of grace. (Romans 11:5) ... The Jewish people are judicially blinded to the identity of Messiah... Question: If God blinded the Jewish people to the identity of Jesus as Messiah, how could He send them to hell for not seeing what he had forbidden them to see? ... Inasmuch as God has blinded them to the identity of Messiah, targeting the Jewish people for mass evangelism is fruitless.â€Â
(John Hagee letter (on Cornerstone Church letterhead) to Erwin M. de Castro of the Christian Research Institute, October 18, 1994, pg. 5, copy on file. Special thanks to CRI’s Elliot Miller for his exhaustive effort to locate this document.)

John Hagee is scheduled to appear at Morris Cerullo's "Summer of Miracles" June 25-August 27, 2004. Some of the people attending will be: Ken Copeland, Crelo Dollar, T. D. Jakes, Benny Hinn, Jesse Duplantis, Tommy Tenney, Steve Munsey, and Oral Roberts.

Hagee is a very good Bible teacher.
I like to hear Hagee preach, and mostly I agree w/him. But this different means of salvation for the jews thing just doesn't sit right...It's not biblical

If he is such a good Bible teacher--what's he doing on TBN?
There are some good Bible teachers that buy airtime on TBN, Daystar, and the like.
Charles Stanley and D.James Kennedy come to mind

I would not say one good thing comes out of the media 99.9% of the time the teaching on the tv is not wholey sound.

Also...Adrian Rogers, David Jeremiah, Michael Youssef are a few more. But most of them... :o

It is sad to hear that men of God would seriously compromise with TBN!

They certainly seem to lack good judgement.

Please don't judge them according to the media they use to teach. Judge them according to WHAT they are teaching. Especially in the cases of the ones mhess13 and myself mentioned. Maybe if more TBN watchers (which, btw, I am not) listened more to these men, they might be able to discern better.

My belief is that by associating with TBN they disobey God:

1Ti 6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

And just how many other Christian networks are there in the US on which good teachers can broadcast (especially with the scope of TBN)?
