Question for Elijah23

Hello Elijah, with all your threads on Paul I was curious what all else you had written and went back and read your thread "The teachings of Paul". In this thread you state many times that you "in your 57 years have never been taught the teachings of Paul are infallible" (posts 12, 14 and 83 are just a few of them). You state that only "Conservative" and "Fundamentalists" believe that the teachings of Paul are infallible (post #3). You even say that you used to believe only the 4 gospels, which is what you have quoting lately, but you now believe that even the gospels are incorrect except for the words of Christ (post #72). Numerous times you were asked by Josh and The Lords what modern day church denomination or organization taught these teachings but you evaded the question every time.

I'd like to ask again what modern day church teaches that the entire NT is corrupt except for the words of Christ. I'd be interested to research the teachings of this church.

I don’t say anything is entirely corrupt. I just think Paul is wrong to ban women from speaking in church.

So based on that little disagreement you reject all of Paul's teachings?

I too would be interested in your answer to this:

Hello Elijah, I want to throw something out here for you to think about in case you are reading these threads and just not logging on.

I have to wonder if you truly understand the teachings of your church. The Methodist church has had women preachers since the time of John Wesley. They do this not because they disagree with Paul. They have women pastors BECAUSE of the teachings of Paul. Methodists will cite numerous passages that they believe supports this view. The Methodist church has always taught that the writings of Paul are infallible. Take a look at the "Articles of Religion of the Methodist Church". I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with women pastors here. Simply stating that your church does teach that Paul's teachings are infallible. Shoot me another PM if you get a chance.
God bless, Ray
