It stands for - ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED.

It is the belief that once a person has been saved, that they can never lose their salvation, no matter what they do later on in life.

well John 10:28 says I give to them eternal life, and they shall never perish. What kind of God do people worship where you can lose what Our God gives you . There are many others but this caught me totally by suprise and I wil need to look them up if you want more scriptures.

It's a Calvin Baptist Doctrine that leaked out somehow.

You don't embrace the thought of waking up not saved one day. Like how did that happen?

You don't embrace the thought that you have no choice once saved to go turn to worship Allah or some other false God. We don't have chains from heaven on us.

With all Hard core doctrines, you know there is a middle road somewhere that actually makes sense.

Even Paul turning over the man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh so that His spirit could be saved............ There was a danger of this man loosing his salvation because Jesus was not Lord in His life, though He did accept Jesus.

The smart thing is, don't try to find out if you can actually loose your salvation. It's a argument for dumb people who would even think of it. Serve God with every thing you have, and honor the Lord Jesus always, doing His will and being perfect in him...................... No questions about O.S.A.S at this point.
