For those that like to question and condemn science did you ever ponder why it's only theists that do the questioning? WHY? The answer lies in the fact that science contradicts their beliefs. However when asked to show why beliefs should be believed based on hard facts somehow the room grows very quiet. Constantly the din of WHY science facts are wrong are constantly brought up. Yet they haven't done the research to find out these questions are not questions in the scientific community or the questions have already been answered.

Are you suggesting that those who accept the theory of evolution are intellectually superior to those who don't?

I am suggesting that those who blindly follow something and turn aside proofs, evidence, and fact, are yes, less intellectual than those who use reason.

I get a bit into circular reasoning here.

(yes I am an atheist... but...)

I believe that a "God" would want his people to follow in his footsteps.
I have had many christians tell me, that you should bring others to God, because it is the right thing to do, etc.
Now, due to this, I cannot possibly make myself believe that a "God" would purposefully and knowingly lead people down a false path (evolution) and provide so much evidence for it. Why? Because then that is saying to every christian, that, Instead of leading them to God, easily, and properly, they should lead them to Budha first, then around to mormonism, to some agnosticism, and then, If they didnt like what they saw, Then, Bring them into christianity....
