I live in the southeastern U.S, "the deep south", and there can be a lot of racism here. Among the younger people interracial relationships are becoming more and more accepted, but among the older generation...not so much. They were raised in an era where blacks were treated as a subclass, and many of them find it hard to overcome their way of thinking. I think it is perfectly fine for people to marry outside of their race, after all, didn't Moses marry an Etheopian? :wink:
 
It is not unbiblical to marry a person from another race. God created all of us in his image and his likeness. The reason why God forbade the children of Israel from making a covenant with other nations is not because of race it is because of religious beliefs. God did not want the children of Israel to adopt the religious beliefs of other nations and to follow after their gods.
