I live in the southeastern U.S, "the deep south", and there can be a lot of racism here. Among the younger people interracial relationships are becoming more and more accepted, but among the older generation...not so much. They were raised in an era where blacks were treated as a subclass, and many of them find it hard to overcome their way of thinking. I think it is perfectly fine for people to marry outside of their race, after all, didn't Moses marry an Etheopian? :wink:
