Racist remarks

You know something that does not often get spoken about is racism....
Looking at what ''Kramer'' said at that comedy club, just goes to show that racism is alive and well :sad .......
Speaking for myself as a Hispanic American (I was born here in the U.S.)
i have expirianced ''some'' racisim, but not nearly as much as some of my best friends who some are black and some asian....

I will write more on this in a little bit, But I will close with this....

God only has Children. He has no grand children or great grand children.

Apparently he was heckled by some black people. He basically fired off a bunch of offensive remarks back that went too far.

I think it shows more of a need for anger management than a problem with racism.

Slightly off topic- Racism has no place in Christianity, in fact there are many verses against it, including:
1Jo 4:20 If anyone claims, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how is it possible for him to love God whom he has not seen?

1Jo 3:15 Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

1Jo 2:11 But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

1Jo 2:9 He who says that he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now.

Amen Christine.....

I don't think there is anything that will set me off faster than racial slurs. I tend to overreact very easily when those are used, mainly because I believe it is a pure sign of ignorance, prejudice and plain lack of common sense.

Michael Richards has some very serious emotional and mental problems, and he is in need of prayers for deliverance. As you pray for peace for those who were offended by his remarks, please also pray for healing for Mr. Richards.

I have put what I am about to say on this site before' a little over a year ago' I think. But there is no such thing as a different race. The word race was not even used until the 30's. And it was used to describe the Jews, about the time of Hitlers war. We all come from the same source. It appears that Noah named his kids according to the complexion that they were born. Ham means hot' burned' or heated. Shem means brown' dusky' or olive. Japheth means light' bright' or fair, and this is in the Hebrew. And Genesis 9' says that' from these 3 was the earth overspread. Now what went down was' that after the Ark had landed on Mt, Arat later the Tower of Babel went down. Now if you will remember in Genesis 1' God told them to be Fruitful and Multiply and Replenish the Earth. And they did not' they multiplied' but did not overspread. But at the Tower of Babel' when He said Let Us Go Down and confuse their language, they could not understand each other. And from the region of Arat' the tribe of Ham went south' south east and south west. The tribe of Shem also went south. And the tribe of Japheth went north' north east and north west. But not all of the tribe of Japheth went south' because the Lord said that they shall dwell in the tents of Shem. And I don't have time to explain why the Lord said that. Bare with me' because I am doing this from memory. But this is why even today people of different colors are where they are in the world' unless they moved to another place. Just like Israel use to be a part of Africa until I think it was 1869 when the Suez Canal was built. Now you don't see the darker people in Israel and Jerusalem like you did in Biblical times. In Biblical times it did not matter the color of your skin. It was what can you bring to the table. There were 2 or 3 black emperors of Rome' why ? Because it was what can you bring to the table. It was not about your skin color. Western and European scholars have tried to be hush' hush on a lot of things' but the Bible makes it clear. They have said that people of color was not to' involved in the Bible. But the Bible mentions African nations about 900 and something times. and European about' 90 something if I can remember right. But God chose to spread Christianity through Africa and Europe. And he used different color people to do so. Case in point.

This is Paul in Acts 21 : 36-38 37And as

Paul was to be led into the castle, he said unto the chief captain, May I speak unto thee? Who said, Canst thou speak Greek?

38Art not thou that Egyptian, which before these days madest an uproar, and leddest out into the wilderness four thousand men that were murderers?

39But Paul said, I am a man which am a Jew of Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city: and, I beseech thee, suffer me to speak unto the people.

You make the conclusion, Art not thou that Egyptian. Meaning that he was a darker complexion. My whole point is that we are all involved in God's system of things. I could go on ,and on with this because I have studied this subject for a long time. But you should see my point. There is no such thing is another race' just the human race. God does not carew about your color. Genesis 9 says that from 3 was the earth overspread. So that means that we are all brothers and sisters. It is a stupid thing when people treat you unfair just because of skin. To tell you the truth it is a evil. A ploy by the devil to keep us apart, because the devil knows that there is power in the masses. I pray that I don't make enemies because of this post.

I think racism is caused more because of cultural differences than skin color, although I don't think that the racists themselves realize this.

I don't know which is worse in America when it comes to racism, blacks or whites.
Neither has any room to talk about the other.

You are right on the mark.

Values play more of a part in whether one is prejudiced or not, as opposed to skin color. Those who lack values, lack moral propensity to love one another despite the differences. Those who love one another do not see color as a boundary.

The thing is that EVERYONE can trace their heritage back to the original couple. Whether or not they want to admit it, we are ALL distantly related. Of course, those who choose to deny the creation CAN deny that. People can always justify anything they want to do in their own minds.

Hate (especially of people we don't even know) is the one emotion that I have a difficult time understanding. I can understand it if it is someone one personally knows who has done them or a loved one a great hurt (like rape and murder of your daughter). Only the grace of God can keep one from hating in that instance. Hate breeds more hate, because it's contagious.
