Most religions I call them hunting nickel. So not care about the truth. Since crying or wailing member fill the bank account of the boss, oops ... pastor, priest etc..

For (- Baptists, evangelicals in general) there is only one reason to be obedient to God's law.
The reason is: to achieve salvation. This is impossible. They are right not to obey.
For (- Sabbatarian) there is more than one reason for this is not to advocate obedience.
- Obey to follow the example of Christ Jesus. The disciples also did
- We follow in gratitude for grace and love.
- We follow the Spirit and not in the letter. This is the new covenant. The law planted in the heart by the Holy Spirit. The law is in the Spirit. (To deny it is to deny the truth)
God's grace is not cheap as they preach around. It cost the blood of Jesus.
For (- Catholic): Obedience to be saved, to appease the wrath of God. There is even a sacrifice of the Mass for this. They changed the law with the authority of the pope. WHAT do not agree.
I Peter 2 / 21 For with ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example that you should follow in his footsteps
Rom 1 / 5 through whom we received grace and apostleship, for obedience of faith among all nations by name
16/26 Rom But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God to all nations for the obedience of faith;
Rom 3/27-28 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but the law of faith.

What is religion that man should be mindful of it as there are various types of religion in the world separate from what God defines as pure religion. Each has its own philosophies, theories, doctrines of tradition and different gods . How does one even know how to pick the right religion for themselves. Is it decided by emotions, rationalization, or a family dictatorship. It can boggle the mind to try and figure religions out.

There is one simple answer to all of this and that is to enter into Gods pure religion, James 1:27, to subject yourselves to that which is Gods obedience to obey His commandments and walk worthy of His calling.

Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Rom 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

Col 2:20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,

What are you surmising? Just the origin of the trinity? That is a lot of information but where is it pointing?
