Receiving from God. Things that must be in place in prayer. Part 2
By me, Brother Mike.

Praise God!!! We covered the big 3 that must be in place already. Hope, Faith and love. In those 3 are many dynamics and principles we need to take heed to. God shows us exactly to get ALL our prayers answered, and not just in some mysterious way that nobody has a clue about.

God answers prayer, Yes, No or Maybe

I have seen the above statement mentioned by all kinds of different denominational Christians, I have read it in more than one book. It is sad that Basic understanding of praying to God is not taught everywhere. More sad that no matter how dumb you are, they still let you write a book and publish it. Just because we don't get a prayer answered does not mean God said NO!!! It just means we need to learn more about prayer, and come to a place in growth where our experience match what the Word says, and not bring the Word down, twisting it to match our inexperience and ignorance.

If we follow what God told us about prayer, then we will be just fine. We have to obey what God said, to get results in our prayer life. This is the most clear and basic instruction to get any prayer answered.

1Jn 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
1Jn 5:15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Our confidence comes from asking in line with the Will of God. If we ask anything according to God's will, then we have confidence that God heard us. If God hears us, then we have what we asked for. How more simple do people want it? There is no, God answers prayer NO, or MAYBE in those scriptures. It's not there, yet many add it in when talking about praying to God.

God designed prayer to Work, every single time. To give you a clear answer, in line with what you have asked. What happens if you don't ask according to God's Will? Then what? What happens if you don't know God's Will? Then what?

If you go into prayer without knowing the Will of God, then you have no confidence that God even heard the prayer. This is why, Lord if it be they will prayers can cost you your life or the life of a loved one. The scripture never said when praying that we are to go in ignorant of God's will. I am not sure who invented those "If it be they Will Lord Prayers." That type of prayer is from someone that does not know God. It's someone that has not taken the time, or consideration toward God to find out his Will in the Word of God.

Eph_5:17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Yes, Brother Mike, Jesus prayed that way................................................

When was Jesus ever Ignorant of God's will? Jesus never prayed that way, because if Jesus did, then Jesus did not know the will of God.

Jesus said.................... I am going to the cross, I will be leaving you and I will send the Holy Spirit from my Father. This is not a statement from someone that does not know the will of God. When Jesus prayer He said, Father you can do all things, if it be your will take this cup from me, NEVERTHELESS Not my Will be done, but YOUR WILL.

You see that? Jesus did not go into prayer being confused of God's will. Jesus said I would rather not go to the cross, I don't want to Go, if you have any other way then I am all ears, otherwise your will on this matter will be done because I am going to put the flesh under and I am going to do what you told me to do.

It is fine to go to God and ask him about something when you have two choices. God should I go to A, or should I go to B. Which one should I go to. This is called getting wisdom for something where you have to make a choice. A petition is a choice you already made, knowing the will of God concerning it. Your asking for a specific thing, and you already know God's will on it.

If God told you to go preach to Eskimo's and live in a Igloo, you could go to God and say.......... Father, I know you told me to do this, I don't want to do this, if there be any other way then please send me somewhere else, otherwise your will be done. I will go get my snow shoes and Igloo building kit.

Jesus never asked God to heal someone!!!! He is our example, and it would do us Good to follow what Jesus did. When I first got the report of my son having cancer, I never one time asked God to heal Him. The first person I spoke to was the devil and I told the devil to get his hands off my son, I then thanked God quoting several scriptures back to God for giving me His word and promise. I already knew God's will concerning the matter, I don't need to ask if God lied or not. Lord if it be thy will heal me, means your ignorant of the Word, or your telling God he might not have been truthful in His word. It's in bad taste to ask for things God said is already ours. We need to show more respect than this by taking the time to find the scriptures and seek God before getting our petition ready for prayer.

Once you find out God's Will on something, you can now Go ask God for it and have confidence that God heard you, and know full well that you have your answer on the way. It is really that easy, it just takes a bit of your time to seek God and find out what God thinks about your situation. Faith is the evidence of things not seen................ One more time Faith is the evidence of things not seen...........
(Heb 11:1)

Remember, Faith believes what God said. It's your evidence that it's the will of God, and when you pray according to God's will, then God hears you. If God hears you, then your answer is on the way. Your faith in What God said means that you have received those things you asked by faith.

Jesus had the shorter version of What John said..........
Mar 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

The only way you can believe you have something from God, is because you prayed according to God's will. Doing that insures that you have confidence that God heard you, and that you can fully expect without doubting that what you asked is going to be yours.

This is basic Prayer 101, and it's important to understand this basic foundation of prayer. Once you understand that your answer is always sent, because you prayed according to the will of God, then your faith gets larger in your praying. If you see the Will of God in praying for others, and you pray for others, you can have a new confidence that what your praying is working on that persons behalf, without fail. Go find examples of what Paul prayed for the Church, and use them for others. That is the will of God and it worked for Paul, it will work on your own people that you are praying for.

God only answers prayer YES!!!! God never designed prayer to not work, prayer is not broke. If God has to say NO, then you need to get in line with God. This is the basic stuff, there are conditional things and a lot other things to cover, but get this basic concept down and you will be on your way to being a prayer warrior!!!

When my brother in Christ was waiting on a ambulance, I already knew God's will. God's will was that He be healed, end of story. I have no doubts, but my brother in Christ was not wanting to listen to me, so I had to go get God's wisdom. Knowing the Will of God is just the first step, and there are other things to consider but get this basic thing down first......

1) Before asking God anything.... Healing, new house, Lamborghini, food, bills getting paid........... ANYTHING!!! Go find out His will concerning this. Seek God!!! Get help from others to find scriptures for you, Get help if you need to. Ask God to show you in the Word, ask God to reveal His will to you through the scriptures. Get wisdom first and his will concerning something before asking.

2) Once you are convinced of God's Will, then go to God and ask. There are some things we should not ask, like for healing, but for now God will be more than happy to work with you if you care to find out his Will. Ask, and be ready to receive what you asked for. Expect it to come at any time, keep your faith focused on that hope that it's on the way. Think what it would be like to have what you asked for, believe that you have it already. Get excited about it!!!

3) Once it shows up, then thank God!!! God for some odd reason likes to wait until the last possible second. I'll talk to Him about that when I get to Heaven, but God is never late. Our flesh don't like that, but God always comes through. Thank God for being faithful, go tell others!!

4) Keep that experience and hope. God came though for you, He will do it again. The righteousness of God is reviled to us from faith to faith.

Rom_1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

This is how God builds his relationship with us. The only righteousness God has can only be shown by God keeping His Word to us without fail. There is no other Righteousness God can use to show us that God has right standing with us. We have right standing with God (Righteousness) through a gift, not of ourselves. God shows his righteousness to us through His faithfulness. It builds us from faith to faith, our trust in God gets stronger and stronger.

Luk 12:29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
Luk 12:30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
Luk 12:31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Luk 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Never WORRY how your going to get something paid, how you are going to be healed, how it's all going to work out. Jesus said not to fear, because it gives God pleasure to give these things to you. It's what God wants to do!!! God has nothing that gives him greater Joy than blessing you, and taking care of you. That is what God does!!! God gets pleasure from that.

Mat 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Your prayer gets answered when you remove all the reasons in your mind as to why God won't get it over to you. How much more will God give you good things if you just ask? That is the Heart of the Father, it's what God loves to do.

So, go into prayer with Confidence, knowing you have prayed according to God's will. Have your scriptures ready, put God into remembrance to the things He said to us. While you believe that you receive, keep in mind that it's God's pleasure and joy to get these things over to you. Have confidence, and build a life that is worry free of all things.

Mike.
