I just sat through another gutwrenching 'skins game. These losers are pathetic. I think my Mom would make a better qb than Brunelll

I sympathize with you. Being in Baltimore, the Skins games are always on, and some coworkers are fans. I've watched some of them, and I agree Brunell is absolutely pathetic. The funny thing is, they have one of the best defenses in the league this year. Problem is, they probably have the worst offense, after maybe Miami. They really lost some games early in the season that they should have won. The next 4 weeks are going to be brutal. Philly, Pittsburgh, Philly, Giants. It would be quite the upset if they won any of those.

Yeah, the skin's defense is awesome! But man their offense...uuhhhh, gross!
I don't really understand what Gibbs was thinking even signing Brunell to such a long/high dollar contract in the first place. What was up with that? And to stick with him so long. He did put Ramsey in yesterday, I haven't heard yet if Ramsey will start next week. And like you said, the next 4 weeks---OUCH!
What's a skin's fan to do?

If Gibbs follows his pattern, in five years the Skins will be in the Superbowl. From worst to first, every five years.

Hopefully!
Too many people have thought that since Gibbs was here, the skins would be a contender this year. I was hearing people predict a 13-3 season, 11-5 ,etc
That's a lot of pressure on the coach!
But Gibbs is solid and the team will be a contender sooner or later

I always liked Gibbs, even though i'm a Browns fan. He's an innovator, and as long as he didn't burn out like all great coaches do eventually, he'll be bock and winning Superbowls. Remember, when he was winning Superbowls, he was going up against great teams and great coaches. 49ers dynasty, The Giants with Parcells and Bellicheck, the Vikings were good back then, heck, even the Browns were good back then. Today there are no great teams, no dynasties. It's a few solid teams with no weaknesses, but average by yesterdays standards. A bunch of conservative coaches all doing the same thing of which a few of them do it a little better. A innovator like Gibbs, if he hasn't lost his touch, can make a real big splash. My guess is that he will do a quick rebuild and do it the right way. I always thought that when he knew he was going to lose, he would purposely lose big to get a few good draft picks and use those picks to take him the distance on their next run. There are a lot of plays/sets still being used in the NFL today that Gibbs invented back in the day. I'll trade you Butch Davis for Gibbs unborn grandson. :-D
