Isaiah 14:27 The Lord has prepared His plan, no one can frustrate it.

Isaiah 14:28-32 An oracle from God: Do not rejoice, all you Philistines, that the rod that struck you is broken, for from the root of the snake will spring up a viper, it will strike with venom of fire. The poor and needy, [righteous Christian Israelite peoples] will find pasture, they will dwell in safety. But your offspring I shall destroy by famine and your remnant I shall slay by My sword. Wail at the gate, let all Philistia be stricken with panic, for fire and smoke will come upon you.

What answer shall be given to that nations envoys? It is that the Lord has established Zion and in that Land, His afflicted people will find refuge.

My Refuge and My Fortress
Psa 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Psa 91:2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Psa 91:3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
Psa 91:4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Psa 91:5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Psa 91:6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
Psa 91:7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Psa 91:8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Psa 91:9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
Psa 91:10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
Psa 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
Psa 91:12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Psa 91:13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
Psa 91:14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
Psa 91:15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
Psa 91:16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

My Refuge and My Fortress
Psalms 91 is one of the many scriptures which Promise protection to His faithful peoples, on the Day the Lord sends His fiery wrath; the Sixth Seal worldwide disaster.
It is what happens after that virtual depopulation of the Middle East region, that Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 34:11=16, +, informs us about.

Isaiah 52:1-2 Awake, Awake Zion, put on your strength! Jerusalem, Holy city, put on your splendid garments, for the heathen and unclean will never again enter you. Arise, captive city- shake off the dust and loosen your bonds.

Isaiah 52:3-6 The Lord says: You were sold, but no price was paid and without payment, you will be redeemed. My people were captives in Assyria and Egypt, but now, what do I find? My people in exile and My name reviled constantly. But on the Day that I save My people, they will know My name and know that it is I, the Lord, who speaks. Here I am!

Isaiah 52:7-9 The bringer of good news announces deliverance, proclaiming to Zion: Your Lord has become King! You who keep watch, raise your voices and shout with joy, for you will see the Lord return to Zion. The Lord has comforted His people and redeemed Jerusalem.

Isaiah 52:10 The Lord has bared His holy arm and all the world will see the deliverance of His people.

Isaiah 52:11-12 Go out, leave Babylon behind, touch nothing unclean – keep pure, you that carry the holy vessels. But you will not flee in urgent haste or leave like fugitives, for the Lord will go before you and He will be your rearguard.
Isaiah 52:13 My servant will achieve success, He will be honoured and exalted.

Isaiah 52:14 The time was when many despised you, My people, just as My servant [Jesus] is despised and rejected. So He will cover many nations and what they were not told, they will then understand.

V 1-6 Jerusalem; cleansed and made holy by the terrible Day of the Lord’s wrath, the Sixth Seal devastation of the Middle East. His people, Christian Israelites, redeemed and protected. Isaiah 51:11 Note: captives in Assyria, refers to the ten Northern tribes, but we know from the N.T. that true believers from every nation and language are deemed to be Israelite’s. Romans 9:6-9 & 24-26

V 7-9 ‘You who keep watch, will see the Lord return to Zion’ This proves that His holy people are there, in the Land, before the Return of Jesus. Revelation 13:7

V 10 The Lord has bared His holy arm, Shown His strength, on His Day of wrath and vengeance. Isaiah 63:1-6, Jeremiah 12:14, Deut. 32:40-42

V 11-12 His people – leave your homes, the Lord will guide you. [in the same way as He did for ancient Israel] Do not bring anything that will defile you. You will travel to the Promised Land in style and march with joy and thanksgiving. Isaiah 30:29, Jeremiah 31:8-9, Isaiah 40:29-31

You that carry the Holy vessels…..You people who keep the faith, fulfill your destiny. The Temple will be rebuilt, the Ark and all the Temple treasures will be placed in it. Ezekiel 43:1-12, Zechariah 6:15, Isaiah 60:7

V 13-14 Those peoples who have not received the Gospel will be told the truth.

Psalms 91 was written way before the prophecies of the day of the Lord during His great wrath to come in the end of days. We have the same promises of God that the Israelites had as the word of God is for every generation. Abiding in the shadow of God almighty is our secret place, our refuge in times of trouble that no matter what comes against us, even death, that we will always be with the Lord, Romans 8:38-39.

The word Zion has many meanings including a place, a people, and a Spiritual concept. Isaiah 52:1-15 is about all who have put their faith and trust in the Lord that come under persecutions, even to death, Matthew 10:28. We who are Christ own are Zion

2Peter 3:1-13; Rev 21:1-8 teaches us that this present heaven and earth will pass away, which includes Zion and Jerusalem and God will renew the heaven and earth before ushering down the New Jerusalem. The New Jerusalem could be a Spiritual concept rather than a literal place in its description as a place of perfect peace, joy and righteousness where the collected Bride of Christ resides forever. I don't think that any of us will really know until we are caught up to Christ and be with Him forever.

Deuteronomy 32:36-42 The Lord will judge His people and have compassion on His servants, for He will see that their strength has gone, all are affected. He will say: where are your false gods, those false idols in which you trusted? Let them be your protection! See now that I, the Lord, am HE – beside Me there is no other God. I hold the power of life and death. I swear: as I live forever that I will sharpen My flashing sword and set My hand to judgement to punish My enemies, then My vengeance will fall upon My foes. I shall make My arrows drunk with blood, My sword will devour flesh, the blood of the slain and the captives along with the enemy leaders.

Deuteronomy 32:43 Rejoice with His people, you nations, for the Lord will avenge the blood of His servants. He will take vengeance on His enemies and punish all those who hate Him and will cleanse His peoples Land. Jeremiah 12:14
Deuteronomy 33:1-5 This is the blessing that Moses pronounced on the Israelites before his death. The Lord came from Sinai, He appeared and shone out from the South. With Him were multitudes of His holy people, streaming along at His right hand. Truly, He loves His people and blesses His holy ones. They receive instruction, the Law that Moses gave us, as our possession for all Israel. Then, when all the tribal leaders assembled, a leader arose in the Land.

The Lord will judge his people and have compassion on His servants. His servants; who are now every faithful Christian; people from every race, nation and language. 1 Peter 4:12, Romans 9:24-26,

their strength has gone – Isaiah 17:4-6 & 9 On that Day Israel [now the Christian peoples] will lose their strength and prosperity. On that day, strong cities will be abandoned, like those of your enemies of old that were deserted at the Israelites approach. Cities will be uninhabitable – no food, power or water.

those false idols in which you trusted – people today put their faith in materialism, atheism or a ‘rapture’ escape out of the test all must face. Micah 5:10-15

My vengeance will fall upon My foes – The great and terrible Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath, prophesied over 100 times in the Bible. It is the next action of the Lord on earth, which results in the ‘cleansing of the Land’. By the means of His ‘flashing sword ‘, an explosion of the suns surface. Isaiah 30:26a, Malachi 4:1,

the enemy leaders – As the enemy leaders prepare their weapons, Psalms 7:12-16, Isaiah 21:2 – Elam & Media = Iran, ‘they are swept away by a whirlwind ‘. Habakkuk 3:14, Psalms 83, Jeremiah 49:35-37

The Lord appears to His people – The Lord’s Right Hand, that is Jesus, Psalms 110, will lead ‘the multitude of His people’, from every tribe, race, nation and language, Revelation 7:9, into all of the Holy Land in the same way as He did for the ancient Israelites. 1 Corinthians 10:4, Jeremiah 31:8-9, Isaiah 49:8-11

they receive instruction – True prophets and priests will teach them the right Laws and the correct ordinances. Isaiah 66:21, Malachi 2:7

Then a leader arose – Proof that all this happens before the Return of Jesus for His Millennium reign. Jeremiah 30:21, Hosea 1:11, Ezekiel 40 to 48

Psalms 68:1-35 Let the Lord arise, let His enemies be scattered. Let those who hate Him be gone! Let the Lord’s enemies perish in His fiery judgement 1, like wax before a fire and as smoke is dispersed.

Lord: summon Your strength, use it now as You did for Your people long ago. Rebuke those wild beasts, those proud and arrogant sinners; all those who love violence and war 2. All power and strength belongs to the Lord, enthroned on high. Cleanse now Your holy Land and give strength to Your people, we pray.

The Lord says: I shall bring My enemies together into the place of slaughter, from wherever they are. I will smite them there, their blood will flow out so that you can bathe your feet in it and your dogs will lick it up.
Psalms 63, Micah 4:11-12
When the Lord speaks out in mighty thunder 1, kings and their armies will flee in terror. When the Almighty scatters those evil peoples and clears the holy Land, snow will fall on Mt Zalman 3.

We sing the praises of our Saviour and Redeemer. He who rides on the clouds, He is our Father and the defender of His righteous people, but those who refuse to acknowledge Him will remain in the desert 4.

When the Lord saves His people, there will be thousands of vehicles for them 5, as He leads them to safety through the barren desert. The earth will tremble and rain will pour down to replenish the holy Land 6. There Your people will settle, for in Your goodness Lord, You provide for the poor and needy.

The procession of all Israel comes into view; into the Holy city. First the singers, then the musicians. The little tribe of Benjamin will lead, with Judah, Zebulon and Naphtali following, marching on their way the Zion’s holy mountain: on to the Temple in Jerusalem. Kings will bring gifts and envoys will come from far off nations to honour and praise Israel’s God. His Majesty and blessing is over the holy Land , the Lord enthroned in heaven will give strength to His people 7.
Praise be to God!

Ezekiel 36:1-38
This is what the Lord says about the Land of Israel: The enemies have gloated over you and you were trampled down when you were occupied by other nations. I will speak to the Land, now plundered and despised by the surrounding nations.
In My burning zeal, I have spoken out against the rest of the nations, especially Edom, for with glee and malice they seized My Land as spoil. Therefore, because Israel has suffered the scorn of the nations, I swear that those nations will in turn suffer scorn.

But you, Land of Israel, bring forth your branches and yield your fruit for My people, [all true Christian believers], for their homecoming is near. See how I will look on you with favour, you will be fruitful. I shall settle on you many people - the whole 12 tribes of Israel, [plus those grafted in] the towns inhabited and the Land prosperous. My people, will live there again, never again to leave. No longer will they suffer the scorn of foreigners.

When ancient Israel was living in the Land, they defiled it by their idolatry. I sentenced them to exile around the world. But I have concern for My Holy Name, so you Israelites, it is not for your sake that I am acting – I shall show My Holiness through you and all the nations will know that I am the Lord.

I shall take you out of the world, gather you from every land and bring you back to your homeland. I will purify you of everything that defiles you. You will have a new heart and I will put My spirit within you and you will desire to only follow My Laws.

Then you will live in the Land that I had given to your forefathers. You will be My people and I will be your God. Having saved you from all that defiles you, I shall command the Land to be plentiful, trees will bear abundant fruit and the soil will produce heavy crops. Never again will you suffer famine.
Isaiah 35:1-10, Ezekiel 34:11-31

You will recall your wicked conduct and evil deeds and will hate yourself for them. Feel the shame and disgrace of your old ways, people of Israel.
The Lord says: when I have cleansed you of all your wrongdoings, you will settle in the Land and the ruined places will be rebuilt. The Land will be ploughed and sown, no longer a devastation. and rain will come in due season.

After the Sixth Seal disaster has cleared and cleansed the entire Holy Land.

The nations still left around you will know that it is I, the Lord who has done this.

The Lord says; once again, I will let the Israelites pray to Me for help. They will become many, as flocks of sheep in the Land. As Jerusalem has flocks of sheep at festival time, so will the towns of Israel be filled with flocks of people.

Then: they will know that I am their God.
Ref: REB some verses condensed.

The prophet Ezekiel, who was commissioned to prophesy specifically to the House of Israel: Ezekiel 2:3, wrote chapter 36, giving the story of how God will, in His burning zeal, clear the evil neighbours, - Jeremiah 12:14, out of all of the Holy Land.

Then, His people, the Christian Israelites, Jews and from every nation and language, will gather and settle in the Land. They will receive God’s Spirit and will live in the Land with great prosperity. This is in order for them to be a light to the nations and to prepare for the Return of Jesus.
