Something I found while surfing the net. Its based on a 2008 Pew Foundation survey and has some extremely interesting results:

Here is the full list on whether religion was very important to their lives:

List of belief in heaven:

Mormon 95%
Evangelical 86%
Muslim 85%
Catholic 82%
Mainline Protestant 77%
Hindu 51%
Jehovah’s Witnesses 46% [not disbelief, they are taught against this]
Jewish 38%
Buddhist 36%

belief in Hell:

Evangelical 82%
Muslim 80%

Mormon 59% [not disbelief, they are taught against this, although vaguely]
Mainline Protestant 56%
