Remembering basic Bible Principles During Times of Stress

Hey All,
I have the most basic, easy to understand, biblical principle that goes back to my childhood days in the early 1960s. (Maybe not the shortest, but easy to remember.) It is a Sunday School song. I am sorry I didn't know who wrote it. But it goes like this:

Jesus loves me this I know
For the Bible tells me so
Little ones to Him belong
They are weak but He is strong
Yes Jesus loves me
Yes Jesus loves me
Yes Jesus loves me
The Bible tells me so

The are other stanzas. But I cannot remember them word-for-word. It is so simple a child's mind can understand it. But it is so complex in doctrine.
God loves me. (I am His.) I am weak. (can't save myself) He is strong. (He saved me.) The Bible tells me so.
(So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17)

Even now, in my 60s, when things get heavy and I start to feel overwhelmed, I still pull this song out of the old memory banks. It reminds me that, no matter what, God loves me. I can face any situation, because God loves me. It is extremely comforting. I hope this helps. Keep walking everybody. May God bless,
Taz
