This is long overdue.
This was agreed to in order to get access here. If this agreement cannot be obeyed then access will be revoked.

2- Respect each other's opinions. Address issues, not persons or personalities.

3- No Bashing of other members. Give other members the respect you would want them to give yourself.

4- No ad hominem attacks. Again, address ideas, not people.

5- No Trolling. You will not post anything that disrupts the peace and harmony of this forum. Don't make inflammatory remarks just to get a response. This will also include posts that put down Christianity in general or any posts considered as blasphemy by staff (this is a CHRISTIAN FORUMS site).

6- For the believers: To not give a seeker or unbeliever an honest answer, or an honest attempt at an answer, is to not respect them as persons, as persons created in the image of God.

7- For those who may not be believers: To not respect our beliefs is to not respect us as persons, as persons created in the image of God.

I see a lot of posts that are posted as if a real scientist said it, but it turns out to be a joke. Or explain this principle then go on to misrepresent the principle. On and on. That to me is trolling. Why is that permitted?

We moderate more on behavior rather than what someone else thinks about a particular topic. That within reason of course. After all, this is a Christian site.
If a link is not provided "as if a real scientist said it" then that is against the ToS. Plagiarism is no allowed. Always include links where such a claim is made.

The science agreement to join this forum does not mean the main ToS is null and void.
Notice the theme of the agreement. Why? Because that seems to be where issues are most likely to come up.

From the agreement:

Respect each other's opinions. Address issues, not persons or personalities.

From the Main ToS

ToS Brief #1
Address issues/ideas, not persons or personalities. Do not insult, publicly post derogatory opinions of others, post insinuation to belittle or discredit, or otherwise create a hostile environment. Present evidence for support or rebuttal during debate. Bashing the author of another view or opinion is not evidence.

References to ToS 2.4

2.4: No Trolling. Do not make an inflammatory remark just to get a response. Address issues not personalities. Respect where people are in their spiritual walk, and respect all others in general. Respect where others are in their spiritual walk, do not disrupt the flow of discussion or act in a way that affects others negatively including when debating doctrinal issues, in the defense of the Christian faith, and in offering unwelcome spiritual advice.

It is a violation to misquote or misrepresent another member. Do not flood a forum or thread with similar posts, or many posts in succession. Allow others a chance to speak and be heard. If you are responding to multiple posts in the same thread, please consider using the multi-quote feature. Please refrain from taking a thread too far off topic. Slight tangents are ok, but we prefer to keep threads as they have been defined in the OP (Original Post).

As for how revocation is determined in this particular forum it depends on the seriousness of the problem. This forum is accessed by privilege only therefore access is by the discretion of the staff.

The bickering needs to end.
I'll be blunt.
Insults directed at any group/s of people for their belief will be cause to revoke privileges to post in this forum.
It's been going on far too long on all sides. It needs to stop.
This goes for anyone and everybody.

Moratorium on Bickering and Insults. That includes general put downs like, "Scientists can't see beyond their microscopes," or "You're just quote mining that".

I like that because it doesn't favor any one side over another. It should help especially if the admonition to treat each other with due respect is picked up and carried by each member of the Christianity and Science forum.
