Is it possible to repeatedly repent from the same sin over and over again?

I have noticed that there are some sins which I have repented and not returned to committing again such as shoplifting, tax fraud (stealing), and sexuality outside of marriage to name a few. There are other sins however that I seem to continually struggle with. When I get angry, for example, my mouth can become my worst enemy. I am a perfect example of what Jesus means when he says that it is not what enters the body that defiles but what comes out of the mouth.

Does this mean that I am repeatedly repenting from the sins of my mouth or am I just plain refusing to repent?

I does seem that I have slowly been learning to be in better control. In fact, now that I think about it, it has been quite some time since I last lost my temper.
