Report: Pedophilia more common among 'gays'

Thanks for that link Ciara.

Larry Kramer, the founder of ACT-UP, a noted homosexual activist group, wrote in his book, "Report from the Holocaust: The Making of an AIDS Activist": "In those instances where children do have sex with their homosexual elders, be they teachers or anyone else, I submit that often, very often, the child desires the activity, and perhaps even solicits it."

To elaborate on this passage from your link: I know someone (male) who was molested by an older boy who had been having relations with an older man. This boy turned around and was doing it to someone else. So, ofcourse this behavior is deviant and addictive (learned as well). But I can not say for sure that all gays have a tendency to be pedophiles. I have a few gay acquaintances and I could never imagine them being that way. But I don't see behind their doors, do I?

This "study" is highly suspect. For those that know what the Council for National Policy is all about, they would understand that they are extremely biased and it is in their best interests to label homosexuality as deviant and linked to the molesting of children. I have attached the link to wikipedia below on who they are and what they are all about.

I'm calling BS that a study was ever completed and if it was the data was sifted and compiled in a way to tell the story they wanted to tell. This is a perfect example of using a political agenda to fuel a "study" and in my opinion is a big reason why bills like the Hate Crimes legislation gains momentum. The second people unjustifiably try to link an illegal behavior to a group of people using faulty data or a "study" they are not doing themselves any favors and are actually doing themselves more harm than good.

I don't believe that all homosexuals are pedophiles either.

Aero I understand the need to be critical of every information presented to you.

Firstly no one knows who wrote that wikipedia article. Secondly in the same way you are willing to say that the Council for National Policy is biased, in the same way I hope you are willing to examine carefully the information that supporters of the gay community gives.

There is a double standard going on. People tend to be more critical of the information that conservatives give than the information that liberals give ignoring the fact that the liberal media has it's own agenda as well.

I'm with you. I am critical on both sides. We need to hold feet to the fire for all organizations that fuel these "studies". We need to understand if they are indeed an objective 3rd party, who funded the study, who provides funds to them, etc. before we can truly understand what their motives are on both sides.

It pains me when I see information that is not objective and blatantly skewed. I think we all know that anyone can prove anything with data depending on how you want to look at it. That is why we need objective organizations completing the research when needed to make determinations and decisions about the data and action needed to address. I think most of us know which organizations are skewed whether right or left.

Thanks Ciara! God bless.

Have you noticed who have been members of this group?

Marc J. Ambinder of ABC News said about the Council: "The group wants to be the conservative version of the Council on Foreign Relations." The CNP was founded in 1981. Among its founding members were: Tim LaHaye, then the head of the Moral Majority, Nelson Baker Hunt, T. Cullen Davis, William Cies, and Paul Weyrich.

Members of the CNP have included: General John Singlaub, shipping magnate J. Peter Grace, Edwin J. Feulner Jr of the Heritage Foundation, Rev. Pat Robertson of the Christian Broadcasting Network, Jerry Falwell, Senator Trent Lott, Senator Don Nickles, former United States Attornies General Ed Meese and John Ashcroft, gun-rights activist Larry Pratt, Col. Oliver North, and philanthropist Else Prince, mother of Erik Prince, the founder of Blackwater the private security firm.

to be fair yes, i dont believe in the gay rights are either but let the reasearch be truthful and sometimes that may be against ur way of thinking but jesus has a way of showing how his way is the only way

Ciara,

I really hope you can see the difference in the two organizations.

- The Council on Foreign Relations is not affiliated with one political party, is very public and has no hidden agenda.

- The Council for National Policy is dominated by conservative Republicans, is 100% against liberalism and very secretive and flies under the radar with their activities.

The reason you have the two different styles of defining these groups is because of these differences. I think the attached "study" is proof to what they are up to. They will use any tactics to further their agenda whether those tactics are truthful or not.

Does the Council on Foreign Relations have a liberal agenda? If you say no, how do you know?

Is the Council of Foreign Relations a secret organization? Do you know exactly what goes on in those meetings? Do you know if they use their funds to support liberal agenda? Do you know how far their sphere of influence reaches?

People can learn a very valuable lesson from the mafia. The mafia was and is a secret criminal organization that was able to keep themselves hidden for a very long time because they created fronts(or legitimate looking businesses) in order to hide and funnel money that was obtain by illegal activities.

Aero why did abcnews who is suppose to be speak facts about the Council for National Policy speak in that manner about them? Doesn't it show bias on their part? Are they suppose to be bias? Did you know abcnews is a corporate member of the Council of Foreign Relations.

If Foxnews spoke about the Council of Foreign Relations like how abc news spoke about the Council for National Policy would there would have been a backlash?

Aero homosexuality is sexual deviant behaviour no matter what liberals say or want to say. What I don't agree with if conservatives do indeed manipulate data.

Because God's words are true, the evidence will show that homosexuality is indeed sexual deviant behaviour. As I said before, homosexuality is the product of psychological, emotional and spiritual issues no matter how much people want to say it isn't.

God's word is true and I stand by his word.

Take a look and see if the difference is clear. One is clear partisan while the other is bipartisan. That is the big difference. One is not subjective and makes no qualms about it and the other is at least trying to depict itself and behave in a bipartisan fashion. Again, the "study" they published is a great example of how biased and absurd the CoNP really is.

As far as homosexual behavior being deviant, I never claimed it was not. However, trying to link this behavior with pedophilia in the way the CoNP did is irresponsible, misleading and downright unethical and dare I say it unChristian.

Just my dinky opinion, but I've heard of more STRAIGHT men who are pedophiles than gay men... well, men OR women. I honestly think that the person who wrote that article wasn't giving all the facts.
Why do people focus so much on gays anyway? I think that if people would mind themselves and make sure THEY are right with the LORD, then things might be better off. I know many, MANY gays in my state and they are not pedophiles. Whoever wrote the article sounds like the N.Y. "congressman" who called Michael Jackson a "low life", "pedophile" and something else but I forgot what it was.

That's all for now. Thank you for reading. Remember: this was just MY opinion. :D
