Represent Christ in High School

This is a basic struggle that I see for a lot of people. I myself struggle with this, I want to be that kid everyone likes but also respects that I am Christian. It is very hard now with all of the crap school has and I was wondering if anyone had any advice or ways they show that they are following the Lord?

No, I just know some people from my youth group that are there. We use to have prayer once a week but no one showed :sad

I was just thinking it seems hard to keep a good attitude and represent Him every day

I have the same issue at my school. I don't know what it's like for you because my school is probably a bajillion times smaller than yours (just trust me on this one). Anyway just pray. Pray for big things to happen at your school. I'll pray too. And as for keeping a positive attitude and representing Him...well for that rely on His strength because you can't do it on your own, trust me. I have tried and failed miserably. However I would say you have a very good chance if you just put your trust in Him because I have known God to be the trustworthy sort;). I know, easier said than done right? But it will get better and I'm not just saying that. Also pray for Joy, it's one of the fruits of the spirit. Hope this helped!

That's a shame. I wouldn't rule out trying to start something like that up again. You never know ;)

It can indeed be hard to be a good Christian witness at school. We need to be the salt of the earth, and one way I've found that's good to be salt at school is to simply respect the teachers. I went to a public school, and there was a huge amount of general disrespect from the students towards the teachers, and other students. Simply abstaining from such practices and encouraging proper respect is something that is both difficult and worthwhile. :yes
