Aside from isolating ourselves and prayer, how do Christians help others when we need to exercise social distancing, not working and bringing in an income, etc?

Some people take food to those who can't go to the store for themselves. They leave it on the front porch, and call or text the family from their car that it is now safe to come out and get it.

THIS IS JUST MY OPINION . . . ? just got back from the store. Long lines around block. I live in San Francisco Bay Area. I am sorry for the good people that are hurt by this outbreak, but here people are so afraid to go out they are giving hotel rooms, for free, to the homeless. Great news!

Also, the greedy landlords cannot evict any one for three months. I have a resentment as you can see. My own greedy landlord tried to double my rent from $1200 to $2500 [one bedroom] and when I could not pay it on a fixed income and he evicted me.

I have lived in a room ever since because I have lived in the Bay Area all my life and don't want to leave. So everybody says I brought this on myself. But, actually, it is on God. After I put everything I own in storage, he informed me to keep it there as he has something for me to do. I hope it is to travel. I have friends in Kenya.

This outbreak is not Satan. It is God trying to strip us of our materialism and separate the wheat from the chaff. The good, charitable people from the from greedy people.

As Christians, we represent Christ who in turn represents love for mankind. So now is the time to step up and make sacrifices for others and witness to others who want to believe but have doubts.

This morning, I went to see the doctor. I told another patient about my latest miracle [my son's house] and as she left, she took my hand [despite the virus] and thanked me for my testimony. She said, "it made my week." Her eyes twinkled and I started to cry.

Good Friday is almost here. The saddest day of the year, followed by Resurrection Sunday, the most joyous day of the year.

P.S. I hope you don't think Heaven is for resting after a difficult life. All those who make it to Heaven will be missionaries or guardian angels. My guardian angel is Spirit. She told me to write this so send all complaints to her.

Helping others during the crisis. . .

I have been praying more.

In line at the grocery store I tried to cheer people up. I wore my cross so they would know I was a Christian.

I carry calling cards that say, "God Loves You" and I passed them out.

I did some testifying to a woman who was in a faith crisis.

I sent out a lot of emails.

I remained optimistic so as to be a good role model.

If you are not sick and want to pitch in, google "how to help others during the corona virus outbreak." Or click here.

Remind people who are afraid that historically we have survived much worse and God always fixes things. We have to be patient and give him some time to put people in place to make things right. St. Michael is right out front. He is our guardian arc angel.

Why did they tell people to store up at least 2 weeks supply at home in case they were quarantined. The stores don't have the capacity to quickly give everybody at once several weeks supply of stuff.
FDA and the CDC are at odds with each other.
But dry goods (canned, flour, cereals, frozen foods) can last the two weeks.
Fresh food like milk, produce, and fruits can't.

Indeed, but everyone can't buy several weeks worth of storage foods plus extra meds all at once. Not unless they are going to release military stockpiles or some such.

Oh, I guess in a way I'm already doing that for my neighbor, although it's not a question of them being able to get out but that they are self-quarantined after returning from overseas.

Yes, and it promotes the gathering of people at the supermarkets, which is counter-productive to the cause.

I never learned how to line up well in kindergarten...it was one of my "U" grades.

Nobody else seems to do it well either at the checkout lane... and those lines are long.

The problem with having food delivered is they never bring you wlhat you ordered. At a time like this you really have to go into the store and take what they have. I make the best of the line by talking to people making jokes.
