Not to steal your thread but…
A former friend…elderly Pentecostal widow…
Told me about a song they sang in her church way back when. Take me to the enemy’s camp and give me back what he stole from me.
Obviously I found this inspiring. I started praying along those lines and because I was so inspired I prayed for extra lol.
Long story…prayers are not magical spells and I do believe that God has a plan for each of us. I also believe that scripture indicates that we also have to pray for what we need and also want within His will. I don’t pretend to be a theologian but somehow both are true.
Over time God restored and redeemed me, which included a lot of physical healing in my case.
