I like questioning scripture, and by questioning I mean with the intent of trying to get a better understanding and more clarity to get a clear picture. I just like to pick at scripture and get the best clarity I can on every situation even to a rooster crowing.
The accounts of Luke, Matthew, and John say the same thing. The rooster will crow after 3 denials. It don't matter how many times just that a rooster will sound. And after 3 denials a rooster sounded. That's simple. How many times it doesn't really matter just a rooster will sound.
Yet in Mark there is a bit more information, Jesus said it will crow twice after 3 denials, yet after the 3rd denial it says the rooster immediately crowed the 2nd time. So the rooster sounded after 3 denials yet It makes no sense because immediately after the 3rd denial it should have crowed twice, not for the 2nd time.
OK I think God just gave me the answer as im typing this, so I coyld just delete this thread but because I put effort in and it could be useful for understanding I will post it.
It was just a misunderstanding, the scripture was just saying it immediately crowed the 2nd time after the 1st just clarifying what Jesus said it would crow twice so was just acknowledging the 2nd after the 1st. So it crowed once then immediatly crowed again for the 2nd time as it says Immediately the rooster crowed the second time.
So after 3 denials a rooster crow 2 times.
