Satan lives in Conneticut, and other places

I'm watching these senseless murders in Conneticut with tears in my eyes, wondering if the world truly understands what they are fighting against. I wrote this about ten years ago and was reminded of it, trying to make some sense of the evil we are seeing today.

"Nevertheless, what happens to God blessed America when her good children allow the ACLU to take over as her moral conscience? Time honored traditions such as marriage and raising a family go out the window. Babies begin having babies as virtue is replaced by instant sexual gratification, without commitment. Our children are raised in ignorance, undisciplined in God's basic morality laws. Righteousness becomes a word to use for a spelling bee. I should not steal, because I might get caught. Deviant sexual behavior becomes acceptable, for it is a lifestyle choice. My mother and father are jerks, why should I honor them? A child brings a gun to school, and mows down his teachers and classmates. Children drive by a streetcorner, and shoot down perfect strangers for fun. Child molesters increase dramatically. Sex education replaces sexual abstinence for teenagers. Husbands kill their wives and children. Mothers drown their own children. Insanity! And we the people mourn, and try to understand why these things are happening. We look to each other for answers, but only a few comprehend that Satan's evil spirit is behind these abominable acts. Only a few understand that his evil spirit is being allowed to roam free, because so many of us have turned our backs to God. Now we must fight against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and few comprehend this. And our Heavenly Father looks down on His morally corrupt children with a tear in His eye. Shame on the ACLU for taking God away from our children, but even more shame on us, for letting them do it."

There is no way to take away the grief of those families in Conneticut, but understanding the perilous times in which we are living might help some.
