Satan's New Plan – The Deity of Mary
This past Christmas Eve I attended an Episcopal Church Service where the pastor equated Mary the mother of Jesus Christ to a quasi deity by purporting to prove that Jesus Christ's persona was constructed from the image of Mary his mother. This pastor maintained that it was the womanhood of Mary that imparted the divinity of Jesus Christ because of the mother/child relationship and it was the womanhood of Mary that is that basis of all of Christendom. Here you see the same Satanic temptation in this Pastor's message that arose in the Garden of Eden where Satan tempted Eve with the thought of her elevation to being a deity if she would only eat of the tree of the forbidden fruit. This pastor is goading every woman to think of herself as a co-Savior (hint: Antichrist) of all of mankind for a woman should think of herself, especially her womanhood (female gender), as being instrumental in making Jesus Christ into our redeemer and salvation.
This depiction of Mary as a quasi deity that transformed Jesus Christ into the person that he became is very perplexing. For in John 1:1-5 it says....

The Word Became Flesh
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome.
Take careful note that the 'word' is Jesus Christ and that Jesus 'authored' all of the Bible. So in this Pastor's sermon he said that Mary taught Jesus right from wrong. What he is declaring is very foolish since Jesus 'wrote' everything in the Bible that Mary then learned herself growing up so when Mary taught her son Jesus Christ right from wrong she was actually teaching Jesus Christ his own words back to him!
How does Mary become this quasi deity that is able to impart great knowledge and wisdom to Jesus Christ when it was Jesus Christ who first taught Mary right from wrong in the first place! For Jesus Christ was the word that existed before Mary was even born.
Another foolish oversight on the part of this Pastor is the fact that in John 1:3 it states that Jesus Christ created everything......so Jesus Christ created his own mother Mary and then taught her right from wrong using his word that existed before his mother was even born.
Mary was chosen by God because of her humility in that she accepted the fact that she bore a child that at one time created her and that her child Jesus Christ also taught her right from wrong using his word that existed before she was even born. Mary had nothing to do with the makeup of Jesus Christ either morally or intellectually. How could Mary, especially her womanhood, improve upon the divinity and deity of God himself as Jesus Christ is God's son who put on flesh and became a man for our salvation.
If you want true salvation then just believe in the person of Jesus Christ who is God the Father's son who became man to be born a virgin birth, die a sinless sacrifice on the cross, and then be resurrected to allow all who believe in his name to receive forgiveness of sin and life eternal with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit in heaven forever.
