Guys
There's more to life than the Bible.
It's got some very important wisdom in it.
We need some of it as a guide to stay decent. We should use it when we've lost our way.
But it's not the only resource.

Conscience.
Maybe you haven't got one.
But you probably have.
God lives in our conscience. Listen to your conscience. It will tell you that gays deserve a better deal from Christians. Time to edit the Bible.
Promiscuity is the real sin. Not homosexuality.

And guys. No one is saved yet. There are no guarantees.
Once we think we have a guarantee, we stop searching. We stop trying. We stop questioning. Focus on this life. Stay decent but seek happiness. Ask yourself "what makes me really happy?" But don't settle for superficial answers.

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

You are so immersed in Bible verses you can't think outside that parameter.
Dare you consider that God wants us to think past literal meanings? God is much more than literal interpretations of the Bible

I have made my choice to believe Jesus Christ and His teachings.

It's clear to me you don't seem to give much credence to the Bible.

That's sad.

It's clear to you because you only understand literal meanings.

This is an extremely presumptuous statement.

You really don’t know me or how I understand God’s word.

The scriptures are inspired by God and are the epitome of truth; the very definition of truth.

Yet at the same time, the word is three dimensional; their is a fullness to scripture, a threefold fullness.

There is the foundation which is the literal interpretation of scripture.

There is also the prophetic implication of scripture, and there is the personal application of scripture, which some people call the “rhema” word, where God takes a passage and applies it to you and your life personally, even though it may be a story about someone else in scripture.

  • Literal interpretation
  • Prophetic Implication
  • Personal Application

An example of the prophetic implication of scripture would be the Passover lamb.

The Passover lamb was a literal lamb that was sacrificed, while at the same time was a type of Christ; a parabolic picture of what Christ would do for all mankind as a sacrifice for our sins.

Here’s the point:

The prophetic implication doesn’t make the literal interpretation not have a literal meaning.

One truth doesn’t make another truth, false.

This is what you are implying by attempting to validate sexual immorality: specifically homosexuality.

There is certainly a depth, a fullness to God’s word. However, one aspect of the fullness doesn’t “cancel out“ another.
