The article misses an important part. "Tail" was an anatomical euphemism in Hebrew. It seems to describe a hippopotamus.

"Zanav" means "tail", but also has a euphemistic use for something similar that stiffens.
 
Or it is a discription of something seen by the writer.

Behemoth, and Leviathan aren't necessarily "Physical Creatures" at all, but the two "Weaknesses" in Job that God was after when he started the dialog with satan to begin with. God wanted to bring job to repentance (accomplished at Job 42:6).

Job had two problems - PERSONAL PRIDE = Leviathan, and A tendency to rely ON HIMSELF and HIS STRENGTH = Behemoth.
