By definition, no, it's a forum for debate. It's acting as one but plenty of science has nothing to do with the debate and is interesting nonetheless, and it would be nice to see someplace to put it where it would fit.

Why not just stop arguing with each other and discuss scientific issues?;) I'm not against a separate forum, it's just that one more or less exists.

Eh, but the name "creation/evolution" is more of an attractor for Christians than something like "science." Atleast with the current name people think they will be defending their religion, whereas with a name like "science" they might not care as much, because, from experience, most Christians do not oppose the majority of science. And everyone likes a forum better if they are arguing rather than agreeing. :-D

As for a science versus/and/for/etc christianity, I would not see any particualr need or much use of it. For one thing, contrary to what seems to be atheist common opinions, christianity, God, and science are not enemies at odds trying to justify eachother. Evolution seems to be the only 'science' that some see to be "at odds" with christianity. So, what exactly, would the disscussions be about? And I even think that evolution would be brought into that board as well, making it CvE 2.

I do not find it strange that most of the "talk" on Christian Forums is about Christianity or the Bible. What I do find funny is the amount of time so many atheists spend here!! It is not logical given their worldview.

Since the entire thrust, the entire direction of his posts was to show how changing the name would make it LESS frequented by Christians, and since he was argueing AGAINST changing the name, just how could anyone "misconstrue" what was said?

Darck... You've mis-read it, you've gotten the wrong end of the stick, and now you're trying to wriggle out of it while sticking the blame on someone else. That's a bit nasty, don't you think?

Looks like any simple little topic can be turned into something ugly. I suggest that the arguing stop, especailly since it was based on a misunderstanding, or it'll be lights out for this thread. :smt066
