The Scrovegni Chapel in Padua, Italy, was one of the supreme achievements of Western European art.
It has a fresco cycle of 38 large narrative scenes and a huge Last Judgment on the entrance wall of the chapel.
Painted by Giotto, in the 13th century.

What, there aren't any Art History buffs in here??

I find that hard to believe.

Oh well, as I continue my college class, I shall post more works of art. Might eventually push a button on someone.
A GOOD button!

I think these old paintings are very beautiful. I don't like modern art, it seems to lack skill and
intelligence, compared to the old masters.

Thanks for sharing these, Biblereader! ;-)
