Since this dream felt familiar that I had it before in this past few months, either that a movie… I wanted to note this.
The dream started off at the xmen school, school for gifted children who were actually mutants. I didn’t hear one, but understood there was a siren warning the school of impending danger. Cyclops told the kids it was code red and to not open the school doors no matter what. All the adult mutants ran out and I could see them going into battle but didn’t see the enemy. The kids put these steel metal plates on all of the windows and waited until the siren went off. When they took the metal plates off the windows the X-men were gone. No bodies or anything, but understood they were dead. The kids were afraid to go out the front, so they tried to escape through this hole in a roof. There was pteradctyle on the roof though, and it was trying to kill them so they had no choice but to lock the roof back up and stay inside. This one teenage boy though knew they couldn’t stay inside forever though. There was a window and he was climbing out on the ledge of the building. The pterodactyl again tried to get him and he went back to the window quickly but the pterodactyl followed him. They were in the hallway with it and the boy used his power which was strange, that his body came apart in pieces to punch it, but it wasn’t all that strong and hardly hurt it. But then at the end of the dream, Wolverine jumped through the hole in the roof and sliced the pterodactyl into pieces with his razor sharp claws. He didn’t know the other X-men were dead, but was going to be there to lead the kids and teach them/protect them.
-note- I remember a television series where similar things happened. I lean more towards “dream adventures of Sister Shara”, just a random dream, but I pay attention when things repeat. Dreams like this are also very disturbing to me. I learned with ADD, dreams can be a symptom- hyper focus/intrusive thoughts. But then I do believe that God speaks through dreams, so I’m just trying to find a balance and discernment. It helps to write and talk about them
