i am posting scriptures that show we can be secure in Christ
(disclaimer this has NOTHING TO DO WITH OSAS )
Romans 5:20 King James Version (KJV)
20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
John 3:14-16 King James Version (KJV)
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Philippians 1:5-7 King James Version (KJV)
5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

very seldom do we hear these scriptures used in church .the churches that teach osas use these. but seldom any others,,
its ok to say yes i am secure in Christ . you might say what if ? i can only give you scriptures

15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
17 Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,
vs 16 our secrets will be judged . so there is a know so salvation ..yes we can now i have heard it said .we dont know until we die
i like to say it this way we have insurance through blessed assurance .
can we focus on the goodness the grace the Love God has for us? once again this IS NOT PROMOTION of eternal security or osas. all though we can be secured eternally ..but i must warn if a person is living practicing sin on a everyday basis . no repentance no remorse .a very good chance your not saved
