You may well know the Barna research group…it’s a company that surveys Christian people and groups and comes up with data on worldview and such. And the numbers are currently…

Extra depressing lol 😆 4 percent of people in the USA have a biblical worldview. Born again Christians…9 percent. Non denominational Protestant groups 13 Pentecostal 10 and Baptist 8.

The Barna group is doing its best to empower churches ⛪️ to cultivate a biblical worldview in members. I’m all for it but….

Didn’t Jesus Christ say that there would be a great falling away? And a great apostasy? And…

From day 1 wolves in sheep’s clothing and the wheat and the tares and….

Many are called but few are chosen.

Again I support trying to build a stronger Christian worldview among church goers etc. not the issue. It’s just…

I look at these rather dismal numbers and then I think about how with mega churches…which are growing in the USA…it’s all about the numbers growth and getting more people to get saved. And…

Remember Billy graham? Lots of good intentions…lots of crusades for Christ…

What percentage of people who made an emotional decision for Christ do you think became long term believers?

Not billy graham’s fault. He preached all over casting a wide net. That is admirable and in line with Jesus Christ telling us to preach to all nations.

I had a counselor who was also a minister while living out of state and he was a Calvinist Baptist. He tried to give people in a poor nearby town food and basic Bible teaching and…

They sure did appreciate the food 🍱. Not so much the Bible. This is Deep South America 🇺🇸 where people put Christian stickers etc in everything.

I dunno 🤷‍♂️ I’m not saying calm down and let it happen but…

God gives the increase. And the love of many shall grow cold 🥶….

Sort if a rambling post. Just stuff that’s been on my mind lately…

Thanks! 🙏
