[__ Prayer __] Selfish

It makes me feel selfish to ask for something for myself, but my shoulder has been hurting for nearly a year now. I do not want to go to the doctor for fear that I will have to have surgery, but the pain is now so intense that I cannot take it anymore. For this reason I ask for a little prayer. Mention me in your prayers so that the lord will heal me or so that he will send me to a doctor as a part of something bigger.

I don't view asking for prayer as selfish! I will certainly pray for you. I know what it feels like to be in pain but to also be afraid of major medical stuff. May God bless you in all of this.

this definitely isn't selfish at all. i ask for prayers about much less serious stuff all the time. i will be praying for it! recurring pain, especially when so acute, is really hard to cope with!
