Sharing is an attribute of the born again believer, But there is another SHARING that is not talked about and mostly ignored. Any born again believer who watches the American political arena is not blind to the disgusting continual bold faced lying, self serving, thieving, murdering and traitors to our Constitution. And what is even worse is they know you know they are lying, and they do not care, But continue with out conscience or any remorse.

I watched an interview of a renowned political women (I did not know her) Talking about how wonderful Hillary Clinton is and that she would trust her life and her children's life with Hillary. I can only say that it is a good thing that this women and her children were not in Benghazi. She said how proud it would make her and other women if Hillary were president. I see the multitude of those people who praise our current administration who give comfort and support to our enemies.

Look at all the religious organizations that support those who are clearly walking and live according to the Adamic nature of, lust and pride of the eyes and flesh, but cloak themselves as religious to get more votes. What is even more astonishing (to born again believers) is as religious, they support the sins of the homosexuals, gay marriage and even trying to make it legal for those in the prisons to vote while at the same time making it difficult for our Armed Services to vote.

But here is where the SHARING comes in. All, not some, but all of those who support such behavior and do nothing to correct or change or are apathetic (which in itself is sin) will SHARE in their judgment and condemnation. (Rev. 18:1-8)

It's wise to be sure that one's commitment to God is stronger than one's commitment to politics.
Of course, the believer knows that, But where is this being taught, that those who support the corrupt will share in their condemnation' The only place I hear it is in the word of God. Your answer is more of a spirit of apathy then it is a stark warning to man. My wife was watching a program on TV the other day, and one of the actors was talking about what was the Truth about the Gospels. And the other actor said the 4 Gospels all had a different views about Christ, And if they could not agree, how is man suppose to agree on what the truth was. Of course that is a lie, but I have even heard that taught in the Churches. It is not true. People are getting their religion from TV and the Theaters. Where do you see these self willed teachings being reputed? I teach Scriptural truth on what I know, but it is not always well received ,even though they claim to be believers. We are responsible to preaching teaching, and for correcting and rebuking false doctrine. From the POTUS to the country church on the hill. If you Study the Acts of the Apostles, they were persecuted because they contended for the faith. It is not flesh and blood that we fight against (Eph. 6:12) (2 Cor. 10: 3-6)

If it doesn't apply to you, don't worry about it. But I think it speaks to every one of us. I, for example, will not vote for a candidate who is not pro-life. But I know better than to deny the faith those who voted for Romney or Obama. I don't know their hearts, or what they thought about their votes.

Let our love of God be greater than any political statement.

Let our love of God be greater than any political statement.

Amen!

And, let our Christian fellowship be stronger than any political differences. Passionate disagreement, but also passionate love.

It was not political differences I was warning about, nor politics. It was the indifference of born again believers to coddle to those who say they are Christians ,But live according to the principles of this age and pervert the Gospel and the word of God. It is not flesh and blood we fight against, but principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. Why did you think it was about politics? or political statements? Just curious. It was about the body of Christ being obedient to our Spiritual calling, walking with Christ, presenting our bodies a living sacrifice, Holy and acceptable to God which is our reasonable service. And being not conformed to this world (that will dull our sense of Spiritual to carnal) but be ye transformed by the renewing of mind, that we may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. From the wickedness in high places (POTUS) to the small country church that pervert the Gospel of God.

I don't think a Christian outlook/worldview will necessarily fit neatly into right wing, left wing, etc. I guess in a 2 party system it'd be option C: other.

CS Lewis wrote a bit on this. There's ideas in Christianity that appeal to people from all over the political/ideological spectrum. And then there's also less palatable material that doesn't sit well with most peoples' preconceived notions of right and wrong. I think one example Lewis used was feminists...on the one hand, there is neither male nor female in Christ Jesus. Sounds egalitarian. Then you move on to the family roles, and--watch out--the man is the head of the household and the woman's role, while respected (note the relatively strict divorce rules) is definitely beneath that of her husband. Hierarchy, patriarchy; not so egalitarian...

on and on it goes. I always liked Acts, because it appeals to my borderline Marxist tendencies, with the sharing of wealth and what not. Then, God strikes Ananias and Sapphira dead. No warning, just...BAM! The wrath of God is upon you, big time. I still have difficulty with that one.
