Should a Christian cop an attitude?

No...as believers, our tongues should be something we try to keep in check. For our mouths can indeed prove to be as lethal as a double edged sword. Anger too can lead to sin in many forms. So we should strive hard not to, though will admit...we are human and tend to get rather passionate about a number of things so it will happen. Though as I said before...we should try not to let it do so.

Why, you gotta problem wit dat? :biglol
I feel old around here. A while back you (Stove) asked me if I had "Instant Messaging". I still have no idea what that is (although you may have told me). Likewise, I have no idea what it means to "cop an attitude". Remember, though, Eisenhower was President when I was born!

LOL Drew :lol

To "cop an attitude" simply means that one chooses to take the path of an argument rather than confront a situation rationally. It goes in step with, "Talk to the hand", which basically means I don't care what you have to say, it's all about what I have to say... Get it?

Ole Dave Slayer seems to be a comedian, so I'm taking it that he understood my first reply was, "Tongue in cheek" :D

Mat 8:22 But Jesus saith unto him, Follow me; and leave the dead to bury their own dead.

Mat 11:7 And as these went their way, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to behold? a reed shaken with the wind?
Mat 11:8 But what went ye out to see? a man clothed in soft raiment?

I think Jesus had a totally sarcastic tone with some people

Mar 9:19 And he answereth them and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I bear with you? bring him unto me.

He obviously got totally exasperated with people :lol

I think Jesus copped a tude all the time. He had to put up with some serious retards. :lol :lol :lol :-)

Should a Christian cop an attitude? Is it Biblical?

Absolutely not--especially with a cop. :-) The only attitude that is Biblical is an attitude of love and obedience.
