Should a true Christian really get sick?

I doubt all the time the disciples were with Christ if they ever got sick.

I think that if you do your due diligence, you will find the Word says there is only one time we are actually promised that there will be no sickness.

The Christian spirit of Timotheus below, and it appears Christians can be sick.
Php 2:19 But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state.
Php 2:20 For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state.
Php 2:21 For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's.

Php 2:26 For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that ye had heard that he had been sick.
Php 2:27 For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.

In Christ or not, perfect health is for Heaven, not necessarily here, although it can happen on earth according to the Lord's will.

I don't really know if I get sick or not, but people always tell me I'm sick, so I guess I must be.

I came down with Multiple Sclerosis in 1970. That of course is not true but I believe it is safe to assume I came down with it on my second year of service in 'Nam because I did not come into contact with any of the Chemicals until the second year. But I am a Christian, saved by the grace, freely given from my LORD, my God and II was told i would be dead, already, four or five years ago, I think it was. So I am one very sick Christian so yes, Christians get sick.

As I see it, this idea that only people sinning get sick is a perfectly silly idea. If it were true I should be in constant contact with Peter, John, Dr. Luke and Paul. But I will not speak to them before I get to heaven because they, Christians, every one of them, got sick and they died, just as I will, just as soon as my Jesus is through using this tool on this earth.

I know some who testify that they don't fall sick at all, not because they are Christians or whatever, but because they eat healthy food and keep their body strong.

So did I... until I was sprayed with Agents Orange, Blue, White and who knows what else in Operation Ranch Hand to clear the Undergrowth from the line of sight fire fields. I was an E5 in the US Army and the ladies thought I was beautiful when I ETSed and began singing and lying to them. But brother, every Christian on this Earth is a Sinner, a sinner saved by grace, grace that not a single one of us deserves. And Just as God had it recorded, Adam, when He followed Eve into sin introduced Death and because of death, imperfection into the Human Race. All of this requires sickness or otherwise would live forever.

And I'll bet they were snotty nosed little urchins that caught colds, flus, Mumps and other Childhood Diseases. There has only been one perfect human being after God emptied the Garden.
