Should Christians go Bible thumping as means of preaching the Gospel?

With a thin linear Bible, or a heavy-duty Bible the size of a baseball bat, Dave? :lol

I think the KJV bible says you should.

Are you asking how to witness to people, because if you are just follow our master.
The people would follow him everywhere we still do today, just let him lead you and
you won't go wrong, do you know Jesus.

I need the term defined. I am not sure what 'Bible thumping' actually means. I've heard the term, but I just heard it applied to believers across the board because of faith, not in conjunction with any one behavior.

Turnorburn you mentioned witnessing?

We are told to witness--not to beat people over the head with the gospel. The Bible is offensive enough to unsaved people, without making it more so needlessly.

I think believers should share the Gospel. Our conduct, and our good works, should be a witness of Christ. Our words should also be centered around our belief, and so we are likely to share our love of Christ often...as the Holy Spirit leads.

If 1 person out of 100 was saved from continuing their committing to just one sin just because of one thing you were moved to say to them, would that be a Glory for the Lord?

God will decide who is used and how they will walk the walk.
Sinners are even used as God's instrument to bring others to his glory in the end of all the mess that was made. He takes that which was meant for wickedness/evil and uses it for the manifestation of His Glory to come from out of it.

So my answer:
If God wants to use someone in some odd, or peculiar way, or what is seemingly an unpleasant way, then who are we to say, 'no you are not to go about it that way' ?

I've been used in ways that I did NOT want to be used. And even the sins we have committed have been used for His Glory to come from out of them. God is in control, not me.
