It's the things we don't do. Not the things we do.
We may have gotten in trouble with the law or treated someone badly or had uncontrollable rage.
Still we forget that ignoring opportunities for kindness or growth or virtue might be just as bad.
Not noticing someone in need . That's a bad habit. We...ok I.....have ....become so self centred. Noticing my own needs first.

We will always have missed opportunities, as I know I do, where we would of, could of, should of, but didn't.
I wouldn't say that these are sinful actions, but only missed opportunities to serve the Lord that we feel quilt about later.
I include these in my prayers as being missed opportunities the Lord set before me. Like praying for forgive of known sin and unknown sin.

Scripture defines for us what are sins of omission.

Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.
James 4:17 NKJV
