Sit Walk Stand

Hey All,
Check out the following verses and I will comment on them afterwards:

Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Ephesians 2:5-6 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Ephesians 4:1, 17 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

Ephesians 6:13-14 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

Sit (in heavenly places with Jesus.)
Walk (worthy your vocation--see definition below--Jesus makes us worthy.)
Stand (The whole armor of God allows you to.)

VOCA'TION, n. L. vocatio, from voco, to call. See Voice.
1. Among divines, a calling by the will of God or the bestowment of God's distinguishing grace upon a person or nation, by which that person or nation is put in the way of salvation as the vocation of the Jews under the old dispensation, and of the Gentiles under the gospel.
2. Summons call inducement.
3. Designation or destination to a particular state or profession.
4. Employment, calling, occupation, trade

David says blessed--happy is she man--who doesn't do these things.
Paul tells how to do what David said not to do. Ah but how?
We can sit "in Christ Jesus."
We can walk because we are a "prisoner of the Lord."(saved, protected, encompassed) That makes us worthy.
We can stand with the full armor on. (God's protection--truth and righteousness--Jesus is the truth; and by His righteousness we are saved.)

Alright Jeopardy fans, the answer is; the common denominator that allows us to sit walk and stand: Who is Jesus? Think about it. Keep walking every
body. May God bless,
Taz
