Release Date: Unknown (might the plug have been pulled?)
Title Note: It's very possible that the title of this film will change slightly to the very iconic 6. It looks good on a poster.
Another Title Note: The press release for this film didn't mention the relevance of the Six, but my guess is that it probably refers to the degree to which the hero's abilities increase (six-fold). I will mention that there actually was a comic book hero whose abilities multiplied six-fold, though he's pretty obscure. I'm referring to The Collective Man, a Chinese hero in Marvel Comics in the 1980's. There's also 3-D Man, a 1970's Marvel character, whose abilities increased three-fold.
Distributor: Warner Bros.
Production Company: Canton Company, Franchise Pictures.
Cast: When this project was expected to film in the fall of 2000, Michael Jai White, Tom Sizemore, and Toni Braxton were to star.
Toni Braxton Note: The popular soul/pop singer had been expecting to make her feature film debut with this. She'll be costarring in Kingdom Come instead.
Director: Kirk Wong (The Big Hit; several Hong Kong action films) was to direct.
Screenwriter: John Sasano (debut)
Premise: A soldier (White) is given superhuman strength and speed following an experiemental injection of intense adrenaline, which comes out when he becomes angry (ala Hulk). Following the incident, he returns home to find his wife, so that they can try to regain his normalcy and humanity, but in the meantime, his power is going... awry.
Filming: Production had been scheduled to start on October 23rd, 2000 with locations to include Montreal and New York. There's no word on when it might start; it's possible the plug has been pulled on this project.

Nope, haven't seen it. I don't really care for end times movies. But being a Christian and a big movie fan, I hear about these films.
