They are fair and generally work with others pricings to match or beat competition. Be carefull when you buy, the media cards used in some are way more expensive than others, IOW, you may spend little for the frame but shell out big for the media.

Depends on what you mean by cheap.
Personally, I think the quality of the camera should outweight the cost of the equipment. If you have a great camera and you really like the results of it, you'll gain more use out of it and the longevity of the equipment will, in time, repay the cost of the equipment. If you have a less efficent piece of equipment, you may run into problems with the digital images themselves or actual faults with the camera.
I do a lot with photography, so naturally I use a higher-end camera. I perfer Nikon over Pentax and Pentax over Canon. If you choose to go with a higher-end piece, don't buy the Canon Rebel.
