Do you think that with all of the technology that we have around today that will ever be a thing? I'm not talking about the 4D type thing that they have at theme parks either. I'm talking about being able to own a movie that you can interactively smell in your very own home.

Every once in awhile they come up with a new product like this. They even tried introducing smells in movie theaters, but couldn't get the smells synchronized with the movie. The technology is not there yet, but they keep trying.

If they do figure it out, extra care might be in order to make sure you don't end up getting a more immersive experience than you expected!

Ah yes, but they don't coordinate with pictures. The smell of fresh pine while someone is walking through a forest, or roses when someone is given a bouquet.

Oh you mean an allergy attack? Pine sap can cause that ,the pollen is what you smell.plenty of pines here.

I just want the smell. No pollen.
Which would be artificial, artificial pine as in pinesol not quite like pine .

Forests ,here ,woods have peculiar smells.I do read near wooded areas ,I enter a few to get reads, those usually are former groves, are filled with pepper trees.

They probably won't be perfect. Just good enough.

Disney World had a few attractions associated with picture and smell. I think one of them was a Bug's Life attraction and another I cannot remember. It was fun, though.

I forgot to mention yesterday that I know exactly what you're talking about since I've been to those kind of things before. And I love Disneyworld and it's tough to be a bug! I also dI'd the Lego 4D experience or whatever down at Kennywood last year and that was fun as well. :)
