When time is weighed in cold and hot
The end result is sneezing snot
But when the name has slipped my mind
Her legacy was left behind

For she knew not of sneezing snot
For cold and hot is my forgot
That name of names that was a pearl
That very name that framed my girl

But in time of boiling freezing grot
Indeed her name I had forgot
And so to save her from disgrace
I held back not and sneezed her face.

Well my initial thought is that cold and hot represents the past, and your reaction to the past is sneezing. The girl is someone that while you forgot her name, you remember who and what she was, but since you remember her you really haven't forgotten her. And the last part to me says that before you held back your past, but to keep her from feeling pain you finally let go of everything.

Another thought is that you let go of your past so she does as well, but you did something dispicable and it has followed you, and it flames up on you when you previously thought the past was dead. And when the past comes back, she still doesn't know. So out of love you let her know what you've done, and you try to forget her name because of the pain of losing her. But since you remember who and what she was to you, you never really forget her.

I doubt it, but are either of those close at all? It's a very neat poem goliwog, I'd really like to know what the true meaning of it is to you.

this bit resembles cathcing a cold (becasue when ur in a hot room and go to cold you can catch a cold) Colds make you think stupid and i forgot the girls name and then accidently sneezed in her face :D she thought it was hillarious.

Oh man, so close yet so far away. Well it was a dispicable act that she needed to forgive you from lol. No, but seriously that was a neat offbeat poem goliwog, it has a funny twist now.
