I see the news and Italy seems to be in a deep freeze but we're good here.
It is a bit cold - much more than usual, about 5 below, but no snow. Never snow. We're good in that department.
North of Pisa. Good area.

Not a lot on the ground here, maybe about 8" - 10". Had quite a bit more earlier in the year but got some warmer weather and melted a bunch. Expecting 2" - 4" by tomorrow morning so a little shoveling might be in order tomorrow. More cold coming this week. Last week we had about four days of below zero temps with our highs around -5 to -10 and lows in -15 to -20 F. Looks like starting Wednesday our highs will be hovering around zero with lows around -25 until maybe Saturday. Making good ice on the lakes. Was out fishing last Monday and found about 14" of ice but with the cold weather last week, I expect there is closer to 20" by now.

most mornings I have have fried egg and rice and bacon, runny yellow mixed into rice taste really good. I also like rice and baby lima beans mixed with lots of black pepper and corn bread or home made biscuits.
