So long and farewell my friends. At the end of this week i am leaving for my new home in Jasper, Alberta. I will not have internet were i am going and if i do it will be at a public access building or a library, so i may peek in here and there but no where even close to the amount of time i spend here now, Perhaps by some miracle i will be able to still engage in conversation here but the out look is grim.
I had have such a good time here at Cf.net, regardless of the vast diversity within. This place definitely get my vote as number one Christian community online.
I am so glad to finally move, I remember praying a while back, God knew exactly where to place me, i have NEVER seen something unfold as great as this opportunity has.
I was working full time with a Christian employer and with the Military while searching for a great place to move. I seen a ad in the back of the paper on accident so i decided to respond. While waiting for an answer i did some research into travel costs, accommodation, transportation etc and i realized there as no way i could afford it. The employer now referred to as MPLJasper called and said that they would announce who was accepted on the 25th of March. Well, the 25th of March passed, and i could care less since i did not have the cash to travel. Then on March 27 i received a call on my Cell at work... It was MPLJasper calling to offer me employment. Now i was in a pickle, i have a great job on the line with no way to get there, lol But wouldn't you know it, i contacted Via Rail and believe it or not there was a short window of a deal available that would allow me to travel across Canada for a mere 370$ after tax. I had 400$ on my Credit Card.
So now i sit here counting down the days with a train ticket in my hands, all packed, but i still live 350km away from the station with NO RIDE, But God came through once again, i am going up with a Youth group to a rally in Halifax,NS for the upcoming weekend. Problem. The train leaves on the 27th this Month, the Youth rally is over on the day of the 26th so i would need a place to stay for 1 night and i have no cash. Word got around and i discovered to my surprise that i had a long lost cousin living 7 minutes away from the train station
So everything is working out like clockwork
Praise God.
I'll still be poking around for the remainder of this week. I'll be sure to post some pics when i get a chance ;)
