So you call yourself a Catholic?

This is a test. Failure means immediate damnation, do not pass go, do not collect $200. :-D

OK, so anyone can take the test, you don't have to be Catholic. (As we all know, catholic means universal. If you're a Christian, you're catholic, just with imperfections.) But the test is not easy. Not only did I score 13 out of 20, but found out I'm a heretic for failing question #6! Talk about imperfections!

Post your score, and don't fib.

15 out of 20 for me also.

I am a heretic and I got question #6 right. You know if you are just believing something because you are told to, and you don't really know what you believe, what's that worth?

18/20 though I want to quibble about one of the questions and answers... but that's just me being a bit critical about things.

I got an 18 according to their answers, but they are just flat out wrong on one of them. #8 concerning nuns. They set up the term Laity in distinction to clergy and include the religious life under laity. However, nuns are neither laity nor ar they clergy according to Vatican II's Dogmatic Constitution on the Church. Here is the quote...

Lumen Gentium:
31. The term laity is here understood to mean all the faithful except those in holy orders and those in the state of religious life specially approved by the Church.

So really my score was 19.

I got #15 wrong concerning the hypostatic union. I really should have known better, and I felt uneasy about answering it the way I did.
